I am 5'4" , 34 " waist , a bit stocky . I would usually buy a large and have owned large Carhartt vests . The new loose fit however has me buying a medium to fit well .

The great quality you'd expect from any Carhartt product. These are fairly heavy but super warm and cozy and should last for years. I would recommend sizing down.
