Unfortunately, vestwas too large for my grandson. Vest returned for refund.

This is a Christmas present that hasn't been opened yet; but I am very pleased with delivery. The delivery was prompt and the vest was packaged in a box which kept the vest in tiptop shape. I had ordered one from another company and received a message that it was delayed and I may not receive it so I ordered one directly from the company. It ended up arriving in a bag!!! The vest was in bad shape; it was all wrinkled! I immediately returned it! Thank you Carrhart for your attention to detail.

Runs large. Recommend sizing down.

Bought this as a gift for our son on the recommendation of other 2 sons who have this vest and love it. All have the Carhartt Brown. He's super excited and loves it. It's both warm and comfortable. I just wish more stores carry the smaller sizes instead of having to order it online.

Love the quality and look, has to return it. It was too big. This year I noticed my son who is an XL in most clothes had to order Lg in Carhartt tees, hoodies, and vest. Did the exchange because quality is good.

Perfect fit?fast delivery

This is exactly what I was looking for - warm, big enough to layer under but still trim enough to layer over, and perfect pockets. I'm short and stocky - 5'7" tall (more or less) and 195 pounds (give or take) - and the regular size large fits perfectly. I like it so much I'm thinking about getting the similarly styled coat to wear with (or without) it. Thanks, Carhartt . . .

Wow. When did Carhartt decide to re-label an XL as a Medium? I've worn Carhartt stuff my whole life. I have tons of Carhartt stuff and I can promise you, a medium never swallowed me. Ridiculous. The Carhartt sizing chart specifies a medium. It would fit as long as I wear an undershirt, long sleeve shirt and heavy sweatshirt under it. But then...if its that cold, why would I be wearing just a vest. It seems like Carhartt took a page from the movie Spanglish and decided to take all the XL clothes and sew a "Medium" label to make people feel better about themselves while those of us who are actually a healthy weight need to buy AT LEAST one size smaller for it to fit well.
