This jacket was super lightweight and warm. I had to send it back because it was too tight on my backside. If it would have fit I would have been in heaven! Great jacket for North east winters.

I got this jacket for an "almost summer" time trip to Iceland, where the weather would still be in the 30s and 40s. Iceland is know for its crazy winds and rain, so even though this is water resistant, I coated the jacket with some water proofing kiwi spray for some extra protection. I wore a single long sleeve base layer and the jacket kept me warm and dry, through wind and rain and even going completely around and behind a huge waterfall! I was really impressed, considering it is such a lightweight jacket! I'm 6'3" with an athletic 235 lbs build and I purchased an XL. 48L jacket and 36 in waist. Some of the specs say that this jacket is a slimmer fit or an athletic fit. The overall length of the sleeves and body fit well. However I would disagree with it being slim or athletic fit. It was quite boxy in fit and even loose towards the waist area. I would have one larger complaint, which is that the hood, although being comfortable and roomy, does Not have a drawstring or way of cinching the hood to protect against the wind or rain.

Ever since receiving my Delta Ridge Down Hooded Jacket I have been using it frequently. It looks and feels amazing. It is extremely comfortable and warm. On days that are very cold outside I love the fact that it has a thermal reflective lining and a spacious hood that comes in handy when it it windy or snowing. It also has two large pockets that have zippers so you can store stuff in them or warm your hands. It is a really well designed jacket and is one of my favorite jackets that I own. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quality jacket that will protect you from the cold and is good looking and comfortable.

Super light and high quality.. Even though it is light and thin, it keeps you warm.. I recommend buying one size larger when ordering. Even though I normally wear size M, it was too small. The only point of criticism about the product is its fit. It could have been a more comfortable cut.

This is my husband's favorite coat which says a lot because he has quite a large coat/ jacket collection and is very particular!!

Perfect combination of lightness and warmth and best value

I originally wanted a down coat with 800 down fill, however, I am a big fan of Columbia's Omni-Heat material, having previously owned one of their jackets. I figured 650 down fill with Omni-Heat would work fine in the cold, and I figured correctly. The Delta Ridge is a very warm jacket. It is light weight, and fits well. I love the jacket, however there are a couple of things that I think would make this the perfect jacket if updated. I wish it had a double zipper. It can be warm wearing this coat, and the ability to unzip it from the bottom to let heat out/cool air in would be great. I also wish it had a chest pocket, either on the outside or inside of the coat. I wear hearing aids that allow me to stream music from my phone. Hearing aids use a less powerful Bluetooth and if the phone is away from the hearing aids, or blocked, the sound streaming sometimes drops. Having a zippered chest pocket would help greatly with this issue, to keep the phone closer to the hearing aids, but despite these two issues I still think this is a great jacket and highly recommend it.

Medium was a perfect fit. Quality jacket that has been keeping my warm and dry on cold wet Seattle days.

Lightweight and warm but not too warm. I like the design, different from other puffer type jackets. The material is much more durable than expected. Great for airplane travel, easy to pack and great for transitioning from warm to cold climates. Luv it.

I was surprised with how lightweight this jacket was. I was scared it wouldn't hold up in cold weather, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Once the jacket was closed it got really nice and warm.

columbia quality is already satisfactory enough. If you want to buy a light product and be happy, it's for you.
