I had to size down on these. I usually wear an 11 in athletic shoes and a 10.5 in others. The 10 fit me nicely on these. Once I found the right size, they were perfectly comfortable. I have a bunion and they did not cause any additional pain there. They are supportive without being rigid. Love these shoes!

Granted that I have only used the shoes on a short hike, so far I can say they are awesome. So so comfortable. They run slightly larger, which I don't mind because it means I'll be able to wear thicker socks in winter. But if you are in between half sizes, I would go down in size perhaps.

Really pleased with these shoes. WAnted something that is suitable for hiking in all weathers but light enough to feel like a trainer (I have walking boots and shoes which are great but clompy).
These shoes fit your foot so well. You can feel the quality of the shoe and the laces. I tried many shoes when buying these and they are in a different class!

I know they aren't meant for work, but I am a landscaper and wear these all summer at work and on my weekend hikes. Very durable and water proof, but the best part is that they stay comfortable as well! I bought the latest pair for my wife to stay dry on our vacation and she loves them too!

I do like this shoe! It's much more comfortable than the 3 different styles of Merrells that I tried before ordering this shoe. I ordered a 10 but a 9.5 (or maybe even a 9) would be better but I don't think there are any 9.5s. The only thing that I could think of that may be better in the design is to have the tongue cut down lower. I have a narrow foot so when I pull the laces tighter so that I have a good fit, I get a "wrinkle" on the top of the shoe in the toe box area.
