I had high hopes and wanted to love these but they are not nearly as comfortable as I thought they would. They fit tight on my feet and not enough cushion for my long walks.

Actually quite a comfortable shoe. A tiny bit of pressure at the edge of the lace panel on top of my big toe joint (bunion) - that might have developed into a problem later. Biggest issue was just the look/design - i liked the design better in the Sauconys and New Balances I tried that also fit well. I usually love Salomon shoes and boots but I'm not liking their 'saddle shoe' design they have out now. Also - this has an attached tongue, but it is very flexible and soft so still very easy to get in and out of.

Received this shoe as a replacement to my Speedcross 5 which had a factory defect. So far the shoes feels great. It is light and has a large toe box. I have only used it in the gym, yet to run in it. The shoe runs large bought size 7, usually wear 7.5 and there is still about 1/2inch space between my large to and shoe which might be great for running nut not gym e.g when I perform a forward leap my foot slides forward in the shoe, hence the 4 star. Looks pretty

Bought the shoes for running and was able to go on a 4 mile run right out the box.

These shoes have a way of wrapping around my foot, like a sock. I have them 4 stars, as I like a little more cushion, when running, I wear these more for long walks or just hanging out.

I am on day 2 of wearing these and I already regret purchasing them. Not sure how I'll make these work, but I doubt I'll be using them for running. I have and LOVE the Sonic 4 Confidence and opted to try this one because it said it had more cushion and was good for running 4+ days a week. I'm sure it's a good shoe, but for the right foot. Which isn't mine. Pros: They look nice, I bought the almond cream color and do like it. It does offer nice support, though I wouldn't claim it has more cushion than the Sonic 4 Confidence. If you like a sock-fitting style, this would be the shoe. Definitely a lot of flexibility. Cons: I think the biggest con for me, is the lack of cushion around the back. Specifically around the achilles. I prefer no-show socks and the back sits up a bit higher, so I have a lot of rubbing and redness around my achilles. Which I anticipate will become blisters. I tried a higher sock, and I really don't like the feeling. Still rubbing. If you prefer a higher sock, definitely showing, then this may not be an issue for you at all and could be a great shoe for you. But to avoid the back from rubbing against my skin I tried tightening the laces, which is another con, I don't like the laces. Too thin and a bit wimpy for my taste. Which brings me to a very thin tongue. Also another dislike. So overall more cons than pros for me. Again, I love Salomon shoes, so I'm sure this is a fantastic shoe for the right foot. But I've learned I prefer more cushion all around and I don't like the mesh material. I also question how durable it will be. I anticipate it will weather quickly. Disappointed, because I know I can't return them. And I will probably rarely wear them...

I’m not sure why, but these shoes rubbed the skin off the back of my ankle after walking just a shirt distance. The fit seemed fine and the upper was comfortable, but I couldn’t deal with the rubbing on my ankle and had to send them back. I have a different Salomon that fits great, so I’m not sure what the issue was, but these did not work for me.

I found the shoe very comfortable but too wide. To keep my foot from sliding around I had to use memory sole inserts. I do love the color.

I couldn't tell the color with my computer and to look at them now in person they are burgundy. The brown is not what you see looking at this shoe. They are like crocheted hiking shoes. If you have a bunion the bump will show.

Wanted to love these - they were a little big, and the heel cup was quite deep so I was worried that it would rub my ankles and Achilles over time. Sadly, returning.

I normally by 8.5 to 9. This 8.5 was huge!! Also, I felt like the fabric sneaker portion in the front is not offering enough support.. returning

I have tried 7 and 7,5 and can't fit in either. One is tight and another is loose. I can say the same about my other pairs of salons. I'm not sure if toe box stretch out a bit but if it does I would get size 7. My usual size is 8.

These shoes look cool but they're not as comfortable as a Mission 3 shoes for hey used to make. I had to add my own arch support in order to make these comfortable for even walking. I wish I could've returned them but I had already worn them for a few weeks. I wish they would make the missions again. Those were the best for arch support and white feet

I had high hopes for this one! The upper is excellent - sock-like. But it feels very flat & heavy in the heel & unlike other minimal running shoes it felt very clunky despite being very light

I have worn Salomon shoes for years, but this is the first pair in this line, and the first pair marketed for street, rather than trail, use. (Full disclosure - I'm a walker, not a runner, and walk on treadmills or paved trails, but I still found the models intended for trail use comfortable.) The Predict SOC is a lot less stable and firm than other lines, and has less arch support. These are also a lot higher on my ankle than other Salomon shoes, and rubbed uncomfortably. I didn't feel like I was likely to adjust to the difference in support level, or the rubbing on the back of my ankle, so I am returning them. If you like a softer shoe and don't mind the taller back, these could be good for you. They were comfortable otherwise.

Left terrible blisters on the back of heel. Couldn't wear them. Gave the two stars because other then the rubbing on the heel they were super comfortable everywhere else.

LOL, the ugliest running shoe I have every purchased (believe me I've been out there for decades). Drab, drab color, enough to be depressing when heading out at 0600 for the morning run. For comfort, it's OK not the best ever.

I was hopeful. But the shoe just looks too orthopedic from the rear. The front is fun and the heel area is not... I have other Salomon shoes and they fit me well. I just didn't like the style.

I bought these in November, and run 2-3 miles 4 times a week. Shoes are very comfortable but the support between sole of shoe and upper material when meeting pavement has a lot of give, my gate has started to sink outward as the material gives way rather then supporting foot. I'm not sure if it's because soles are super spongy or if the upper material is to stretchy and it allows foot to roll out...

they actually fit my slim foot but the overall fit was painful once I started to run in them. I had to turn around and go home to change into my old pair of shoes. sadly returning and on the hunt again for shoes.

I bought these in Autumn of 2020 and have put 45 miles on them. I thought they would be great because I have 3 pair of the Predict RA and absolutely love them, but I cannot wear these without moleskin on my heals. They make my heals bleed if I don't. I've tried several times after letting my heals heal to break them in but it's just not happening. I do like how light they are and the toe box feels amazing. I really wish they worked for me.

I had a terrible experience with these shoes. I made it about a mile down the greenway before I had to take them off and walk back in my socks. I had blisters forming after the first half mile. If you struggle with heel blisters or have a wide foot at all, these are absolutely not the shoe for you.
