First, I think these shoes are comfortable and have worn them on four hikes. However, I'm pretty disappointed with the experience I've had on my last two hikes in them - I would not recommend them for rocky or loose gravel trails. I've noticed the shoe slips easily on any loose gravel AND they have horrible traction when they get wet. I walked in a very small stream on my hike today and the shoe slipped out from under me the very next step I took. If you're hiking on a trail that's not flat, I would look for a shoe with a better grip pattern on the bottom....... unless you want a busted knee.

Had these for 2 weeks, have about 18 miles on them and they still kill my feet! The comfort in the heel is great but the ball of my feet ache and are literally sore from trying to break them in. Feel like I wasted my hard earned money. Don't know if I'm up to putting my feet through any more torture to continue to try and break them in.
