This shoe would have been perfect but the part below the laces dug in to my foot (above my toe) when I walked. It may have softened over time but if it didn’t it was the type of thing that could give you a major blister so I opted to return.

For me and my feet, these are the best shoes for negotiating snowy and icy trails. They are easy to put on and take off. Light weight, GoreTex keep me dry and comfortable. The treads give me confidence. They feel and look great. Only drawback is the line where the laces begin. It tends to bear down on my feet at the base of my toes. Will figure trying different socks or an adjustment at the shoe repair store.

My true size is 6.5 wide, so depending on the shoe I order 6.5-7. This shoe was still too big at 6.5.

The shaft was too low and hit at the ankle bone and rubbed wrong. Otherwise seemed to be a good and comfortable hiking boot.
