THe Supercross Blast are a really comfortable shoe, and they have great traction.
The shoe fits snug with just the right amount of room to not fit overly tight.

As a dual purpose SWAT Operator, this shoe has been phenomenal. No matter if I'm at the office, on the street, or in a stack, this shoe has been strong, Versatel, and comfortable.

I've owned these for over a month and they work very well. Really good construction and good fit that was true to size. I wish the lace tucked into the tongue like the Speedcross model I also own. These feel more relaxed and all day comfortable when compared to the Speedcross model. Overall very happy!

Have had shoes for about a week and half. The ONLY issue was the back of the shoe is higher than the previous worn shoes and developed blister from back of shoe rubbing, I just switched to a high sock and problem solved. No other issues and these are great

The shoes are terrific, except I cut the string on one of the shoes of one of the two pair I ordered, believing it was an antitheft string, then realized, too late, that the string was a shoelace, meant to be left intact, an ingenious device for quick lace tightening, after I then removed the paper stuffing from inside the shoe, expecting to find the shoelaces stored within the shoe, and, of course discovered there was no separate shoelace, because the string I had just severed was in fact, the shoelace. I'd never seen or heard of a
shoelace like that, But the shoes are wonderful in every way; fit, utility, comfort, appearance. I just wish I'd known what I was looking at before I cut the lace, thinking it was antitheft. So I wear the other pair; very very impressed and happy with these shoes, and I appreciate the lace design, and the way the shoes feel as they grip the hiking surface well, no matter how steep the trail slope. Would buy them again, and I won't cut the lace again, because I know, now, that it is a lace; not any kind of antitheft device.

I am so used to salomon shoes being on the narrow side, which I prefer for my foot. From here on in I will always use this website, for information at least, to help make informed decisions about shoe fit. That said I have a pair of X ROGG's that also say generous fit, and they fit normal. I tried these shoes for the day (walking around the house) decided to return due to foot slop and less comfortable then the X ROGG. If you have a wide foot...ENJOY! Quick lace is awesome, tread is meaty and they look great. I use my shoes as everyday wearers and I noticed in the description on this website they don't recommend that? Not sure what that says about durability expectations

I bought these to replace my old Salomon Speedtraks which I'd done over 1000 miles in and loved. But these were far worse shoes. The last straw was that they tore through at the little two where the toe protector meets the fabric. That was after only 134 miles of summer trail and hill running (i.e. not rough treatment), around 12-15 runs. Not impressed. I bought them from another seller who gave me a full refund.
Here are the pros: good enough grip for most muddy trails and steep descents; quick laces mean you can get them off quickly; thick enough sole to protect against rocks jagging feet.
The cons:
1. the lacing system is not good. The Speedtraks had the same sort of laces, but they had a pocket in the tongue to tuck the excess lace away, while these have a loop which doesn't hold it, so eventually you have the long lace flapping about. Also, I could never get them tight enough to stop my heel slipping out, but I'd end up having to loosen them later in a run because my toes were going numb! Maybe that's because of my orthotics, but never an issue with the Speedtraks.
2. Poor cushioning. The midsole seems hard. Feet felt battered after long runs in the hills.
3. Insole not fit for purpose. It folds over underfoot after a while. I swapped it out for the old Speedtraks' insole - which was a full bucket insole rather than the narrow one in these, and worked much better with my orthotics.
4. Slippy on wet rocks. The rubber of the outsole is not good on wet rocks, and I had to slow down to stop a fall.
5. Unnecessary pointy toe, which caused trips.
6. Fabric didn't last.
One more comment - I have narrow feet and these really are designed for wider feet. Don't get them if you want a snug fit and have narrow feet.

Within a month the insole kept sliding forward, then by month 4 the heel cup started to tear through the back of the shoe and create blisters and cuts on my heel. wouldn't buy again. I have owned several Salomon shoes and loved them. These however are garbage.
