I have only used these for a couple of shorter runs but so far I am very happy with them. The comfort out of the box is amazing and I was surprised by the support they provided given how soft the feel is. I love my Salomon boots any that is what lead me to buy these shoes and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Light and breathable, moves with your foot- great for road miles and walks around the neighborhood. I sometimes have trouble with my heel sliding in shoes but this provides a comfortable hold around my entire foot. Sizing is similar to my Sense Ride 3, a little less supportive but I figured that with a lighter shoe.

I've gone on a few runs with this shoe and it's been great. Feels very secure around my heel and the sock-like feel of the shoe is the best I've encountered.

I really do feel less fatigue when walking in these, particularly when going uphill. They're stylish and super comfy. Can't recommend them enough.

Wonderful shoe all around. The material breathes well why also keeping your foot drier than similar brands. The toe box is rather roomy but not too much; however allows for thicker socks in colder climate. The "sock" design is amazing and feels incredibly stable, and the lacing is just enough along the top of the foot.
Highly Recommended as a runner and/or cross trainer.

Yeah, these shoes are great on the roads. Super responsive, great fitting upper, nice cushioning, very light, etc. But, honestly, why would you want to scuff them up? These are some great looking shoes.

Loved the overall comfort this shoe has to offer! The knit upper and highly cushioned midsole, along with the geometric decoupling matching the biomechanics of your foot provided me with a very comfortable shoe ready for a long or short recovery run on the roads.

I like these as they are very comfortable once sized correctly and after a short break in period. They are light and feel easy to run in.
I originally bought the same size I've always worn, had to return them and go a half size down, at a half size down they are much more comfortable, ive never had to size down before so I think these run big and maybe could've gone down a whole size. The heel also takes some breaking in, got blisters on first couple runs, after that it was fine and the shoes were very comfortable.
Solomon only allows returns of unused products which is difficult with running shoes as you won't know they how they fit/run until you've ran in them

The shoe right out of the box is ready for a run, no need to break in the shoe. The shoe works well on a track like surface, the feel and grip are perfect. On smooth road surfaces, it also works well, but on rough road surfaces, grass & dirt rail trails the shoe feels a little unstable. The softness of the sole are great, however I have to agree to other reviews that the sole wears out to fast. The back of the high ankle collar is too high, it with bother you if you wear low ankle socks. The sock like material on the upper toe box will hug your forefoot and allow for natural foot splay. the overall size of the shoe runs on the high side, even with the larger 1/2 size I purchased, the fit was very good.
My biggest complaint are, the price point is too high, the high ankle collar and the fact of the premature wear of the sole. This shoe would be better as a track shoe than a road shoe.

I should have picked up on the word “sock” in the description. I would not have bought them. They are very comfortable but I don’t like having the top of my feet so unprotected—vulnerable to impact from above. And I especially don’t appreciate that it takes two hands to get my feet into them. You cannot just slip into a sock shoe.

very comfortable, good support too. they breathe really well. sole is wearing a little quickly in the heal but I am dealing with a hip injury, so i am sure that attributes to some of it. i would buy another pair :-)

*I received this product for free to try, but my opinions in this review are my own.
As an everyday training shoe I was surprised by how much I actually like the Predict SOC. I have not been able to wear Salomon running shoes in the past because my foot is on the wider side. The combination of the slightly wider forefoot and the soft knit is a great combo on my feet. The fit is still a little snug, but definitely the best fitting shoe from Salomon that I have tried so far. The heel on this shoe is ridiculously comfortable and provides a good level of support.
I am a big fan of the cushioning on this shoe. It is in a sweet spot of not too cushioned, but not too responsive on the other end. I have just gone up to a half in this shoe, but would easily use them beyond that distance. The fact that they provide this level of cushion and remain flexible is excellent.
The flexibility does come at a slight cost since the outsole does act as a little bit of a rock vacuum. I have had to stop on a few runs to pick out some rocks now and then that were biting into the shoe a little bit.
The shoe has held up really nice at around 150 miles in. No real visible wear, some dust on the upper, but that can get cleaned. Plenty of grip in the wet and slick conditions of the winter so far too!
Overall I am very pleased with these shoes. It lost a star for me on the outsole grabbing rocks and is still maybe a touch narrow for my foot. If you are looking for that everyday trainer to get a bulk of your running in, and want a shoe that looks good as well, this is an excellent option!

This was my first pair of Salomon running shoes, and I'm glad I picked them up. I normally run in lower drop shoes, but the 8mm drop here doesn't bother me. The upper is super comfortable. While these shoes are on the narrow side and my feet are on the wider side, the upper is so soft and accommodating that it doesn't seem to matter. I also like that there is stronger material to wrap around the midfoot. Without it, I think the stretchy upper wouldn't hold my foot down. The midsole is on the firm side, which I like, but still does a good job protecting my feet. The outsole is great in all conditions, even light snow and slush. My only complaint is that there is such little padding under the laces. I like to get a good lockdown, but can't really crank the laces because the material underneath is so thin.
Also, it's not the most important thing, but these shoes are just super good looking.

So I received my pair of these shoes last week and I've already ran 50+ miles in them. So far I have to say that these are the most comfortable pair of basic running shoes that I've worn so far. My only concern with the shoe itself is the there already appears to be wear at the bottom near the heal. That's normal, but didn't expect to see this much wear so soon. I also developed a blister on my left foot. Blisters appear to be an ongoing problem with Salomon shoes; not sure what's up with that. All in all, this is still a great shoe. I plan to put at least 300-400 miles on them...assuming they'll hold up for that amount of miles.

I've worn this shoe for almost a month now.
Major pros:
1) Tread: does NOT wear easily, has a responsiveness to it that clicks for me and remains intact after walking or running on rocky pavement.
2) Breathability: they improved it significantly. It's a hybrid of both Adidas Boost and Nike Frees.
3) Comfort: even for a flat footed runner the insole + support is perfect for recovery runs.
Negatives:
1) Heel lock: although it is an improvement over the sock-like feel from the previous predict, my first couple of wears caused my heels to bleed. It's stiff and I know it was meant for stability, but something to look out for.
Bottom line: I purchased the two darker colors of this variation and I refuse to switch to other shoes. A solid addition if you're looking for a running sneaker that will meet you in the middle.

These are a wicked good road shoe, fit great right out of the box. I have run in most Salomon roads to date. I feel these are the best so far. No foot fatigue on long runs, very comfortable, stylish and functional. My only suggestion would be, being a road shoe to maybe add some reflective material for those road runs at night.

Good road running shoe. Only downside is I'm used to running in minimalist shoes and the sole to these is a bit wide so it causes foot to be forced in a more unnatural movement pattern but overall is a good running shoe.

These are a great all-around road shoe and a vast improvement on the original predecessor Predict. The sock fit and feel as well as the soft mesh upper make for a shoe that conforms to your foot, fitting snuggly and allowing you to run with ease no matter your pace.

I went form the Sonic RA to the Sredict Soc and so far they are my favorite road shoes. Light weight and comfortable. They fit well and totally recommend them.
