Bought this for my son and he is now an official ASICS fan! He loves the comfort and cushioning so much, that he's seriously thinking of joining the track team. - He noticed right off the bat how easier his runs are now! He's a beginner and is now in the top 9. This isn't even a running shoe either! His jaw dropped when I told him! I do run marathons and ASICS has always been my "go to" for a light, perfectly cushioned runner. Thanks ASICS for bringing the "fun" and the competitive spirit to my boy!

Love this shoe. Have been a long time fan of ASICS but as they have moved into the less structured shoe (ie the DS-trainer mesh type upper), I've found that the sides of my feet feel significantly less stable while working out. This shoe is FAR superior to those for specific exercises (cross training) - they are a bit heavier but provide that support and good cushioning.

I typically wear an 11.5 N athletic shoe. Sad to find that many Asics shoes no longer come in a narrow width. This pair of ASICS Gel-Quantum was a huge find for me. Although they only come in a medium width, it is a very narrow shoe! It fits my narrow foot very well. I did have to size up to a 12 (I've never worn a 12 before). So, if you have a normal width foot, this shoe might not be for you. The insole comes out so that I could put my orthotic inside. My podiatrist suggested this shoe for me and it doesn't disappoint. Tempted to order a second one!

Super comfortable. Great choices in color combinations. Size was true to fit. The only shortsightedness is on the side of retailers, who carry very limited selection of ASIC styles in store (i.e. you may have a hard time finding this model in local sneaker or sporting goods stores. Love them!
