Was hesitant to buy since I really didn't 'need' another pair of winter booties. I walk/run my dog every day on trails and sidewalks. My heavier winter hiking boots and trail shoes weren't doing the trick for faster paced strolls in the snow; in comes the kinetic sport bootie. It's lightweight and the perfect warmth for sports activity in Minnesota as long as snow is not deeper than 4-5 inches. It's like an insulated hightop athletic shoe. I have a narrow foot, particularly my heel, and these fit perfectly. I purchased my usual size in Sorel. The ties help since you can cinch it up to eliminate slippage. And it's super cute on!! I purchased the black and the white sole and checkered ties add style. I like that the white sole has the black bottom so it doesn't show dirt. My new go to bootie that I'm not sure how I lived without.

Got these for a ski trip and they kept my feet warm and dry through huge piles of snow. Super lightweight too; you almost forget you're wearing them. Love the style as well. Total keeper.

I really like this boot. I walk outside on the snow covered streets and this boot keeps my feet warm, are not too heavy and feel like a sole from a athletic shoe.

I just bought these shoes and have only worn them twice, but they are super comfy and SO warm.
I am a true size 9.5 (everyday shoes are classic Converse and Vans, both in 9.5 as well as Nike sneakers in a 9.5; all fit perfect), but I bought the Kinetic Sport Bootie in both a size 9.5 and a size 10, as I have the Out n' About boots that are a fraction too small in a 9.5.
The 9.5's were PERFECT, so I'd say these fit true to size. I found the 10 in these to be too roomy, even with thick socks on.
I cannot speak as to weather they are truly waterproof, as I have yet to test them in wet conditions.
If you are considering getting these, do it!

Just received these and took a quick hike in them. I like size 10 for a little extra wiggle room, and these fit exactly as expected. My feet felt instantly warm but not too warm, and I can tell that the footbed will mood to my feet eventually. The tread has great grip, and the top has gentle ankle support that doesn't seem to rub.
As my second pair of sorels, I can tell these are going to be as well-loved as my first pair (wedges).

I have bought the Sorel Kinetic boot every year for the last 3 years, i love them and think they keep improving the style. i am a 9.5, and originally bought these in a 10, because last year's style ran a half size small i found, but my heel slipped around enough to irk me, so i exchanged them for a 9.5. they might be a little snug, but found they ran pretty true to size. i can't speak on someone else who may have wide feet, i bet they would want to go up half a size, but i found this year's to be TTS and i love them.

SO comfortable. Stylish details and very warm. I have small feet and the size 5 fits perfectly. So I would say these maybe run small. Looking forward to wearing these when it's really cold out.

I was looking for some boots that were waterproof, not too clunky, and warm enough for Chicago winters. These are perfect! I got the Quarry color and I love the unique details, never seen anything quite like these. They're also suuuuper warm and well made, I can tell they'll last me for years. I read that Sorel runs small - I'm usually between 9.5-10, went for the 10 and they fit great with wool socks. I can tell if I got the 9.5 they'd be a little narrow in the toe area.

Overall great in style, quality, and comfort. Two cons: white isn't stain proof, and they look a little wide.

I bought this to walk in every day throughout the winter. The boot is very warm. I bought my usual size in sorel. Other brands I wear a 7.5. I wear an 8 in sorel. It's a little big if I wear thin socks but I wear thick socks.

I ordered a couple pairs of boots, and these just didn't make the cut. They fit true to size and were comfortable, but I ordered the white/black combo and just wasn't crazy about the way they looked in person, thought they were much cuter online. I am a fan of Sorels, but these were just not quite what I was looking for.

Love the look and ultra comfy. But I wish they had better ankle support!

super cute and comfy, but definitely for cold weather (feet get sweaty indoors) and 'apres-ski' look. not sure if fully weather-resistant but look the part. proved too heavy-snowy a look and warmth level forthe general city winter walkaround use I'd hoped, so I had to return, despite the comfiness (I did size up 1/2 as suggested). recommendation below is based on snow-boot use not city.

These boots are exactly what I was looking for in terms of looks and warmth. I wanted a boot that was easy to throw on for trips to and from work, and for short walks. (I also have a pair of more substantial winter boots for longer outdoor activity.) So these have been a great everyday option - and SO warm! I also like the sporty look.
Unfortunately, the seam between the black trim and the turquoise cloth has already started to tear, and I've only had them for a couple of months. I expect much higher quality from Sorel. I've been wearing this brand since I was a child and am surprised and disappointed that it has been less than one winter season and they are already falling apart.

I wanted to like these shoes so badly. My goal is to find a shoe that is comfortable to walk in (like sneakers) but will keep my feet warm in this cold weather. Sadly, these hurt my feet where the tongue is connected to the side of the shoe. I know I have sensitive feet, so hopefully this doesn’t affect most people.

I work at a ski resort in the winter and spend a lot of time in the snow. I was excited to see that Sorel had these waterproof boots. I was very disappointed when I received them. This is the narrowest winter boot I've ever tried on, even with a thin sock. I guess Sorel has forgotten that "athletes" typically wear sport or thicker socks especially with waterproof "winter" boots. The material seemed cheap! The boots I received were sewn unevenly creating puckers in the material. I wear a 71/2 regularly but these 71/2's were long and extremely narrow. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! It seems like Sorel's quality had gone down hill in the last several years.

There is a rip in this boot and I have had them less than two months and have worn them perhaps 5 times, running errands to the store and small walks in my neighborhood. I am going to submit a claim through the warranty department, but for the price I paid, I expect higher quality.
