I had the original Denali jacket years ago. It was warm, light and nice looking. But not great if there was wind, so i always wore a windbreaker with it when it was windy. The 2 takes care of that pretty good.

I love this jacket because it's super versatile! I can layer it or wear it as is and it keeps me warm. The fleece is super thick and the pockets are enormous.

Purchased to replace a 20 year old one that the zipper went bad on.

I love the feel of this comfortable layer. However, the material sheds. I have fuzz all over my shirts and even my office desk chair. I had to use industrial tape to get the fibers out of what it stuck to. I would not recommend this unless you don't mind rolling tape over everything to get the fuzz out.

This is my FOURTH North Face Denali, and I have to say the first three (as with just about everything else I've ever ordered from North Face) were great, and I was a very satisfied customer. I've ordered tons of NF clothes, footwear, gear, packs, tents, outwear -- and although expensive, it's always been worth it. Now I just bought my fourth Denali, and big change -- the new "recycled" fleece sheds everywhere -- I find the fuzz on my clothes, in my car, on my equipment, stuck on my straps, all over the place. I've tried washing and drying it (twice), spent a ton of time with a lint remover roller, and still the insidious "Bolt Blue" strands of fleece are showing up everywhere... If I just lightly pinch the material with my finger tips (NOT my finger nails), I can easily pull out a whole bunch of strands. And tho not a biggie, I'll just mention the fact that the very cheap snap on the sleeve broke the first day (without my even using it), so I had to super glue that (these USED to be metal snaps on previous Denali's, but no more...) AMAZING for a $180 fleece jacket!!! North Face used to be worth the big $$, but certainly NOT in this case!!! Big, big disappointment here, from a very long time, hugely devoted North Face customer...

This is the best fleece jacket I have ever worn. Thick enough to protect from the wind and makes a great outer layer. This XL fits me (5'11" 175 lbs) perfect in the shoulders but loose enough to layer when needed. The arms are long, so when you reach overhead, they don't expose half your arm. I have the hooded version for many years and love it, love it, love it. After several washes, it hasn't formed those little balls or pills. I usually carry a beanie in the pocket and the hood is less of a necessity. This color (Storm/Montery Blue) is not my favorite, but the price was irresistible.

Warm in between seasons jacket

I use this product every day if I'm traveling in the cold mornings, on a windy day, or during a night in the city. Soft texture inside and out! Easy to clean in the washing machine. Awesome color and it easily matches with other colors and the outfit combinations are endless with the lurid tone of the jacket.

I just the color it is not white white but it's more like cream color . The Size is perfect and my son loved it

Great all around cold - mid temp jacket. Light rain no problem. Quality fit and construction. Owned previous model for 15 years before my size changed. Hope for 20 years out of this one.

I'm still used to the old Denali style jacket. Thor new style Denali 2 is different in some ways that I personally don't find horrible but like it the way it was.
