Really warm jacket made well. Rated very highly by outdoor lab reviews. Zippers were nothing like other reviewer's complaints. Size way too large so order down a size.

It feels like an oven with the heat being reflected back to you.

I'm 68 and I hate the cold. This parka is so warm and comfortable I don't mind the cold at all.

Awesome looking jacket!

I really shopped around for a new Parka after it stayed sub-freezing for over a week. I generally wear Columbia, but didn't see anything I really liked. I'm between a 2x and a 3x. I tried a Triple FAT parka - very nice but the 3x was very tight. I also tried a low price parka but it was too heavy. I tried the McMurdo 2x in the store, liked the weight and ordered the 3x. Very, very nice coat for the money. Only criticism is the zipper needs to be bigger and you really need cords to pull the coat tighter around the body. I think I got a good deal. I did probably by buying the parka keep it from approaching zero in New Jersey for awhile. So it goes.

This jacket is super warm and comfey! Lightweight, wind-water proof, and warm is what I was looking for and this jacket delivered!

This jacket is super warm. When it is cold, there is no hesitation to wear this because I know it will keep me warm. It also looks amazing. I can stay warm and be stylish at the same time.

I purchased this jacket for a warm and stylish walk to classes in the coldest of weather and it has exceeded my expectations. Very durable and has tons of pockets so I can carry anything I need. Theres a fleece piece on the inside of the hook that I found you can pull over your face and use as a face mask which I found useful for extra cold weather. Overall I would recommend this jacket to anyone that needs a large warm jacket for casual use.

This coat is really made for the very cold weather. It gets rather hot any other time and also during commute. Highly recommend for that use. Superbly insulated and waterproof. The detachable hood is a fantastic feature as well thoughtful placement of all pockets. This jackets also runs rather large. I would recommend going to a size smaller than you normally would.

I am 6'1", 225 lbs, wide shoulders, and long arms. Ordered the XL originally. XL did fit OK but was a bit loose in the torso/waist. I exchanged for a L and it fits great. Good arrangement of pockets. Good movement for a down jacket. Like the hood with built in face mask. Got it just in time for the cold weather. Very warm in below zero temps, even with just a light shirt underneath.

Bought this for work travels to the cold regions North of Texas. Used it in Boulder, CO at -6F and it was super warm and comfortable but not hot. The hood feels too big at first but on a recent trip to Michigan (-8F and windy) I found the adjustment at the back of the hood that cinched it nicely. This coat kept me warm even when walking into the wind thanks to the built in fleece face protection.

I used my product as soon as it arrived and all I can say is that it's perfect! Used in the rainy Seattle during January and it protected me very well.

even in single digits with negative wind-chill this is warm to the point of needing to open it to let some air in when walking long distances. no restriction to movement despite being on the puffy side

We are from Florida and have no winter gear. We bought this jacket to go to the AFC Championship Game in Foxboro, MA. My husband typically wears an XXL but the feature on the site to put in his measurements directed us to purchase the 3XL. This was perfect given that had multiple layers. The jacket is warm and comfortable but not bulky. The fur around the hood zips off, wish the hood zipped completely off. Overall a great jacket!

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He had a long parka he loved and had for 25+ years. Whenever I suggested he might need to replace it, he would say this is the warmest coat I've ever had. Why would I want to spend 300+ to replace it? Finally I bought this for him. He put it on and went outside, and when he came in he said "I swear I think I was getting warmer as I stayed out longer." And it looks great on him! I'm so glad to have finally found a coat that he not only accepts but actually loves! I will be happy to finally give the old one to Goodwill.

This is like wrapping yourself in the heaviest most snuggly comforter that you own, to go out and about, only without the strange looks. It is absolutely great for not having to layer up to the point where you are going to burst into flame immediately upon going inside. All you need to wear under this is shirt, and you are super cozy, unless you are going someplace way colder than I would personally ever wish to travel. Highly recommended !

I use it almost everyday, it's really warm because of this jacket I don't hate winter anymore! Not that stylish!

I LOVE the look of this jacket. The craftsmanship and materials are high quality. Unfortunately, we found the M was too small for my husband and the L was too big.

I love this gear. It gives total warm during cold/winter season. It fits just perfect, choose smaller size than your usual. Would definitely recommend this.

Absolutely love the parka, keeps me very warm. Has lots of pockets which I like. Movement is a tiny bit restricted but I'd rather stay warm.

I have wanted this jacket for many years. Just moved back to Utah from cally and got it.

Excellent jacket, well made and extremely durable. I cannot see a jacket keeping anyone warmer than this in inclement weather.

This by far is the best parka I have owned. It fits perfect & it's nice and warm.

Excellent warm jacket for Michigan winters. Like the fact the hood is removable and the great features of the coat. Yes. The main zipper was a bit difficult to get used to. I found that when inserting the left side to the right you will hear a "click" when zipper is in seated in place and ready to zip up. Yes. I will be exploring more TNF products.
