The reviewer who said they are like running shoes was right. Was looking for a leather crepe toe boot and these are lightweight comfortable boots. Not meant to be confused with heavy construction job site boots. I love my Redwings and when they are broken in they are also very comfortable. These boots however, right out of the box were like sneakers no break in needed! I changed them up by adding some more aggressive cord laces and put a coat of mink oil on them which made them darker and more masculine looking in my opinion. I probably will wear these with jeans for weekend casual, not the job site. Very pleased!

I bought these boots three years ago now and they have not had any structural problems and are still waterproof. I live in Minnesota I wear them almost everyday in the winter, and for work where I do alot of walking.

Nice boot, comfort was as expected for a Sorel boot, just lacking in wow factor & boot accents. Chose to return because I found a Thorogood boot, similar in color, but way more stylish, great stitching & comfort.

Narrow cut, low instep, sharp and stiff heel cup. I have rarely felt shoes as painful as these. (I am a professional dancer. I break in uncomfortable shoes all the time.)

Ive had the coal color MADSON IIs for about 18 months and they are still my favorite casual boots. They look great and are very comfortable. I joke that they feel like walking on pillows. I do recommend and would buy again. That said, Purchased at Nordstroms. I have different sized feet and they allowed me to get a different size for each foot. Big plus.

I use these for work. The best I have ever had. I have had about 5 pair and love them all except for one. I just started wearing the color major/wet sand. I dont love the suede type material and they are more stiff than all the others. You guys got rid of the best color. I dont remember the name but it was lighter in color. You should bring that back and get rid of the major/wet sand. The material is different and not as comfortable.

I had a similar pair of grey boots but not the same exact version. I am totally pleased with all of my Sorrel boots as they are stylish and super comfortable. You cannot go wrong with any Sorrel products.

Bought em for the looks. Not the most comfortable shoe. To be clear the fit is good. I have wide feet that fit nicely in the shoe. Theres just not very much cushion.

Im a general contractor in San Diego CA, my boot that I wore for the past 23 years has been discontinued. Bought multiple boots and no luck, until I found this one. Bought my first pair and loved it! Ordered 2 more to store until my first pair wear off.

Amazingly comfortable. Sizing down a half size is recommended if youre not always going to be wearing super thick socks. Color is as portrayed. I will be changing out the laces to personalize. Stylish and eye-catching.

Sorel produces great foot wear. I own four pairs. Sizing is a tab bit on the larger side but nothing major I would recommend choosing your usual size. The quality is excellent. I guess my only concern would be the color of the boots were different for me than what was advertised. I had this problem three times out of four. I just used the color I received not a big deal but big enough to be annoyed. In the end I was okay with it.

Laces are poorly made, tried untying my shoe and it just snapped, the material of the boot is also crude, my shoe has been falling apart at the stitch in the front of my boot had been breaking and Ive worn them a maximum of 10 times, and the final thing is the sole have horrible grip on wet and snowy surfaces, I have fallen more with these boots on than any other shoe in my life.

Purchased these for my husband as a nicer option to wear on cold wet days. He found them to be comfortable right out of the box on our walks around Portland Maine in single digit temps. They arent as insulated as I imagined, but with a warm socks you are good to go and more importantly your feet will stay dry! I did follow the recommendation of sizing down half a size which worked well
