Dream boot. Waterproof, looks grea, strong grip tread, and light as a feather. Just a great modern boot.

Best boots ever! Put them on, havent taken them off! No need to break them in, comfy out of the box.

I have a hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet. These are very comfortable all day. Even around the high ankle they are soft and that's where high boots usually hurt me. I'm very picky and these are great.

Ordered 1/2 size smaller - which is perfect. Good wet and cold weather shoe. Thank you!

I was hoping these boots would be the same as the original Madison Chukkas but with a better tread pattern. I ordered the same size only to find out that they run a lot narrower than the original Madison Chukka boots. When putting the two versions together you can clearly see a difference in width.

These have a comfort level b/w tennis shoes and dress shoes. About what you would expect for a Chukka at this price. I think some overinflate the comfort of these shoes; maybe they were better in the past, like some say. The insole is pretty cushiony, but the sole still feels irregular. The Major color is a chocolate brown with some dark olive undertones. So that makes 4 shades of brown to choose from. Can you offer a medium/darker grey in the suede, or is China out of grey? Two stars for lack of color choices and overpriced for a China product.

Love these boots. The newest pair is brand new and feel like they already broken in. Plus, I have a wider foot and these boots accommodate I own three pair of this product and all of them are in the regular rotation. (The oldest being 5 years old, they hold up.)

Bought at store a month ago. Super comfortable, decent tread and waterproof enough for NW Oregon winter street wear. Im ordering second pair in another color now.

please bring back the Major Cordivan It had soul. The current colors look too Crayola

The packaging was a bit lackluster. I've bought boots from other brands and they provide extra laces, boot covers, etc.

These are very attractive boots, good quality, and comfortable. Only issue is I bought them for everyday use at work. These did not go through the security machine. No where listed does it say there's a metal shank in the footbed, so that was pretty disappointing since we bought these specifically for that reason.

I purchased a pair over two years ago and I loved them so much I recently purchased two additional pairs. What I noticed is that the boots have become observably narrower in the intervening year-plus. It isn't a deal-breaker, since the leather will stretch and fit to the foot. However, the initial comfort level of the newer boots is substantially less than the older models. I will note that I don't have a wide foot (never worn wide fit in my life), but I do enjoy wider toe boxes and tend to wear boots with thicker socks. That is less of an option with the newer models.

Boot was redesigned in 2022, not as robust as previous design. Not a fan of the sole and "SOREL" printed all the way across. Boot is much liter than previous versions, not in a good way. This is my 5th pair purchased, have purchased the same pair each year for the past 5 and have really enjoyed the others. I've just had this pair which I reluctantly kept instead of returning. After a few weeks of wear there have been no quality issues. Note too that this tobacco color is much lighter color and leather has a very different, cheaper feel.

Received these Christmas of 2022. The boot looks great but quality is questionable. The sole of one of the boots is separating from the rest of the show. For the price didn't expect it to happen so quick. Have other brands of boots where this has never happened.

They arrived scuffed and scratched to the point where we had to return them. It looks like someone just drug their sharp fingernails down the toe of both shoes as they were retrieving them from the shelf. My husband is going to Europe to present research he had published, and I was hoping to get these for him to wear for his presentation. Definitely disappointing, and I am hesitant to buy another pair for concern of the same issue happening again. Will likely just look elsewhere. I have been largely disappointed with Sorel this season. My daughter ordered a pair of snow boots which completely fell apart after one wear, and now this. Reconsidering my options.. Two stars for the customer service person which helped with the return. They were professional and efficient and provided a return label free of charge.
