I like the feel; soles are solid. Though I've only worn once, the laces tie at the very top of the shoe; hardly any room there to cinch tightly. I wish the tongue was longer

These shoes are awesome! So comfortable right out of the box. The lightweight yet feel very durable and supportive. I'm not a fan of the blue shoelaces with this style of boot, so I just switched them out and they look great. I would definitely recommend these.

Wore to cold snowy football game, I walked 3 miles in the weather and they were great. Not sure if I'l actually hike in them, but love the old school look. I added some blue laces.

I ordered the Lennox boots in a larger size (as recommended), and then grabbed these on a whim since men's shoes sometimes fit me better in width. These are so comfortable and fit me better than the Lennox which are a bit narrow and definitely smaller than normal size. I ordered some new laces for these to add a bit of personality and I'm all set. Very happy!

Great fit, and comfortable right out of the box. The sole seems a little soft, but I use these in a warehouse, so not a problem. I'm not sure how well the sole would hold up in a hiking setting.

I just received the Masson II hiker and I couldn't be happier with the fit or the quality. The leather is softer and had more grain in it then I expected which is awesome for my taste. It's going to be a daily winter boot for me to wear. I don't hike and I don't work construction so these will last a long time and look great with any style or activity that I'll encounter. I normally wear an 11 in all my sneakers (Nike, adidas etc) but these fit best as a 10.5. The insole is thick, dense and absorbent and they are super comfortable! I highly recommend this hiker to anyone for any recreation. I did however change out the grey laces with red. Just my preference.

Comfortable mix b/w a heavier hiking boot and a chukka or similarly refined one. Sharp!

The perfect lightweight leather hiker. Needs no break in time. Surprisingly how warm these boots are. Really love the classic styling with no frills.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas - I have the women's Ainsley Hikers, and love them. My husband has been wearing these nonstop. He says they are comfortable and true to size. I actually sized up .5 because that's what I had to do with mine, but had to exchange them for his regular size.

This is my second pair of Sorel's. The first last 12 years and still going strong. The brand is what so many others lack, craftsmanship with the highest quality materials and built to perform and last. Plus for the $, it just doesnt get any better.

A solidly constructed shoe. Seem to be tough and durable. Quite stylish off the trail too. I'd recommend a thicker sock on cold days. Feet may get cold in a standard cotton sock.

I have worn these a dozen times and love them. The boot was comfortable the first time I wore them and received many compliments on them. The quality is good and the boot fits nicely with no tightness or pressure points. There is plenty of room which would allow for a heavier sock and still maintain flexibility. They have been worn in the rain and maintained the expected waterproofing. These are perfect and I am very happy with my purchase.
