These shoes appeared really well made and sturdy - almost like hiking shoes. Love the look. Unfortunately they were an extremely poor fit for a child with a wide foot. He would’ve been wearing clown-sized shoes (in length) if we sized up enough to be able to get them on his feet.

I was disappointed in these shoes because the elasticized laces on one shoe broke after only one day of wear. When I looked at the other shoe to see how to repair it, I saw that the elasticized lace is held together with a simple knot. There is zero slack in the laces so re-knotting was not an option and the shoes are being returned. These laces should have been secured with cord clips; the way the laces are secured is an unacceptable way to cut corners. The rest of the shoe is really good, however, and sports features that were implortant to me: they have a flexible and flat sole, good traction on the sole, and a wide toe box.

These shoes are fairly easy to put on, but you really have to push open the laces to get them on your kiddo's foot. The material is easy to clean and is wearing very well; my son is very hard on his shoes! They look more like a kid version of an adult hiking shoe than most other kids shoes, which I really like.

So cute and even cuter in person! Runs a tad small compared to other shoes the same size. They are so adorable though!

The quality of these shoes was so poor. Within 2 months of wear, the rubber had worn through on the side by the big toe, on each shoe, very disappointing.

We’ve loved these shoes! The fabric stays looking new even a mud bath and through the washing machine. They rubber toe keeps them looking good too. Wish they had the same style in other colors! So durable!

My son is in kindergarten and did not want me to buy these. He said they make him look like he is still in preschool. I agree butI gave them a try anyway because they have a good sole for kids to run and climb. They fit well and I might have kept them but there is not enough velcro on the shoe to catch the strap so the strap comes off very easily.

I loved how they looked, but they were very difficult to get my son's foot in the shoe. Couldn't get the velcro strap to tighten overtop.

The shoe is adorable but quite narrow. The size 5.5 I ordered I couldn’t get my son’s feet into and the 6 was and felt the same size as his size 5 shoes, which he’s grown out of.
