Love these shoes. I normally run in Ghosts, with longest run/race being half marathon. Typically as an older runner(60+), my feet and knees tended to be sore after runs more than 6 miles. I also have narrower, high arched feet. I have used the Tempo for my longer runs and a recently completed "virtual" half marathon on a relatively flat bike trail. My recovery time from the half was unusually short and within two days I was ready to run again(I would have needed 5 days in the past for recovery). This shoe is very light and I think that is partially why my recovery time was short. My arches were fine and I didn't feel the "heaviness" in my feet and calves I usually felt near the end of long runs. I wear a 9 in Brooks after being fitted at a running store 2 years ago- my regular shoe size is an 8. Would be nice if there were other color choices!

This shoe is the shoe I've been waiting for! I was a loyal Pure Cadence wearer and haven't found a shoe quite like it since it was discontinued. The Hyperion Tempo is even better. It's so light, responsive, flexible. and springy. These shoes beg to go fast - seriously the fastest turnover of any shoe I've ran in! Running feels effortless in these. I often struggle to find a shoe that's snug enough in the mid foot but these hug my narrow foot like they're made for me. I initially didn't care for the stretchy laces but now I love them. They give a little during long runs if your feet swell. I never find them loosening up anymore. My only complaint is they have zero arch support. I have flat feet and add insoles to all of my shoes so this wasn't a problem, but I'd expect a shoe at this price point to have better arch support. This is hands down, my favorite shoe. It's my top pick for 5K-half marathon races (although it could go further) and the only shoe I wear on tempo runs.

I have had the shoe for 3 weeks. I am in an off cycle with marathon training, so weekly mileage is only 25-30 miles. So far, this is my favorite shoe that I have ever had from Brooks and Inhave been wearing Brooks for 10 years! It is fast, comfortable, light, and I have enough support by including an insert,

LOVE! this shoe...provides speed, energy retention, comfort and amazingly lightweight... I'm a mum of 2 kids and running is my therapy, getting back into long distance these past 6 months. As my confidence, distance and speed improved, I needed a shoe to match it and move on from the Ghost... After trying the Hyperion Tempo, the Launch 6 & 7 failed in comparison for me. I wear 1 full size larger than my normal size and the Tempo performed well with higher elevation, road/gravel paths, short & long distance. Considering buying another pair, curious to see how many miles I can get out of these...

I love the fit. Feels secure on my foot. It's really light, but with ample cushioning. The color scheme is nice too. I normally wear Ghosts, but wanted to give these a try and am glad I did.

The Hyperion Tempo shoes are amazing! As soon as you put them on you feel a difference from other shoes. They are light weight which seems to help with a faster pace. I do rotate them with my Brooks Launch shoes.

These shoes like to run fast. I like the smooth mid to forefoot transition. They feel more cushioned on warmer days. The heels feel hard when it's cold out. They could use more arch support and better shoelaces. I can't wait to wear them for my next half marathon.

Honestly, I hated these shoes at first. After breaking them in a bit (1-3 runs) I fell in love! They are very different from my Ghosts and I think it took me some time to adjust to that. These shoes are super lightweight and airy. I got some pretty long runs in them with no pain. Good shoes, would love more colorways.

I've been a years-long Launch runner but found recent models fit too big or too small. I was so glad to find the Hyperion Tempo fits perfectly and works great for long runs, speed work, and tempos. They have great energy return without feeling bouncy or too foamy. I imagine I'll race 5ks, 10ks, and halfs in them. If you're a one-shoe distance runner, these are your go to.

I love the way they feel. They don't have the same cushion as the Ghost 12 but light as a feather.

The shoe has a firm but slightly bouncy feel and is very lightweight. I don't find my legs getting as tired as they do when I'm wearing heavier, albeit more supportive, shoes. I have a high arch and these haven't caused any aches or pains. I used to use the Nike Zoomflys, but prefer these as they provide far more support and control around the upper and ankle. I initially wasn't a fan of the laces, because they stretch out as you run, but after a few weeks I got them perfectly tight and now like that they stretch a bit as my feet swell during long runs. Very very happy with these as a new go-to tempo/long run shoe. I probably won't be wearing them for easy runs, mainly because they are not super supportive/cushioned, which is nice for those recovery runs.

I am a competitive marathoner and have run in Brooks for years. This is my favorite shoe! I have typically trained in the Ravenna or Pure Flow. These are just a perfect blend of cushioning and speed. They feel light and fast yet still supportive. I love the upper and shoe lace material and after three 60+ mile weeks they still look and feel new. I am hooked!

These shoes are great! Light and airy, supportive, enough cushion, and cute. Less weight means less fabric so be prepared for a thin tongue. It's very comfortable though, so no worries there. The area that surrounds the lacing is bonded and does not give. That's the only problem for me. My right foot needs a tiny bit more height in the shoe above the big joint of my big toe. I end up feeling a little achy after a longer run. I just wish it had more give right above that joint like my other Brooks do. The width is fine and the sizing is spot on.

So light and quick. Not the same level of support as a typical wider Brooks shoe, but light, compressible soles. I have a narrow foot and without insoles they fit well, with they go a little wide. Love the color scheme.
