What an awesome fit and performance shoe. It is light and comfortable for maximum speed. Never disappointed with brooks.

They're light, stylish, and amazing. First pair of Brooks I've owned In my life. Picked them up for some assistance with wanting to run and feeling ok after running and this is just the shoe.

This was the first lightweight "race"/"speed" shoe I have tried and I absolutely love them! I typically run in Glycerin, Adrenaline and Ghost and added these to my mix to start to experiment with different types of shoes. I was SURE I was going to hate them once they arrived in the mail because they felt so different (not as cushioned as I was used to). I went out just for a mile or two just to say I tried them, ended up feeling so good I ran 3 of my fastest miles. I thought it may have been a fluke, so I went out the next day for 6 miles - I ran my fastest 6 miles to date! I was shocked at how comfortable they were, and how stable they felt being so lightweight! Needless to say, I did NOT send them back and am so glad I bought them. Never thought a shoe could actually make me faster, or be some comfortable yet so lightweight. I LOVE THEM. Thanks again Brooks for a solid shoe!

I read reviews to assist with this show decision and the comments rang true for me. This is not my first Brooks but my first Hyperion and the fit is perfect. I have not run in years because of a lengthy healing process and I believe I will try again in these light and comfy shoes. For me there has been no comparison.

Brooks Hyperion Tempo shoes are an excellent balance of cushion and support . These shoes wear well for the short sprint or the long run. The tread is solid, and does not pick up rocks while on a run. A light weight snappy feel is how your feet will feel in these shoes. I will purchase these again! Thanks Brooks for making me feel like an elite runner!

I'm loving these shoes! They are super lightweight and comfortable -- I alternate between these and Glycerin for training.

Mixed reviews on these but i have to say i absolutely love mine for speed days! Can't compare it to the Ghost as they are made lighter for faster workouts. I use the ghost all the time for long easy runs. These have become one of my favorites in my rotation on speed days. They're super light, very comfortable. For reference i run in the Hoka Rincon as well on speed days. I find them similar but these are more refined/ less chunky. They look super sleek too. They're a win for me! I ordered the same size as i would any other brooks shoe which is a half size up from a regular sneaker.

I bought these shoes when they first came out at the end of February. I had planned to use them for speed and tempo runs while I trained for the half marathon that I was planning to do in April. Of course, that half got cancelled along with all the other races and I ended up doing mostly easy runs for the next few months (I wear the Glycerin for my easy runs and love them too!). I finally pulled the Hyperion Tempos back out a couple of weeks ago when I started doing faster runs again. LOVE THEM!! They are so light and responsive. My fall marathon has been cancelled, but I've decided to continue training for a virtual 10 mile race instead. I look forward to using these for all of my speed and race paced workouts, and will most likely do the race in the Hyperion Tempos as well. I'll stick to my beloved Glycerins for my easy and recovery runs. The Glycerin + Hyperion Tempos are the perfect combination for my training!

Excellent shoes for tempo runs. They feel like they are pushing you forward. I recently ran a 13 mile comparison run. Comparing with my Adrenalines, runs with the Hyperion Tempo are typically a few BPM lower. Some studies have shown that use of multiple shoes through the week reduce injury occurrence. For this reason I started using the Hyperion Tempo once a week for my...tempo...runs.

I am a tried and true GTS runner, and have had 3 or so generations purchased but always felt they were too heavy. As a flat footed runner, I had reservations about dropping $150 on the Hyperion having read reviews about lack of arch support for the price, durability of the upper mesh, etc. I will start this review by saying I'm not a professional runner, but use running as my main source of fitness. 3-4x a week. Upon receiving the shoes, was shocked at how light they are. It rained heavily the first two weeks so I wore them inside and had hesitations that they were uncomfortable and stiff. My first run was a cold day, and I was not seeing the bounce people speak of. By my second run, after more than a 2 week break of running, I ran a short 2.1 and shattered my old times. I purchased these in mid May, and EVERY short run I've completed, I have beaten my time incrementally by 10-20 seconds or more. The fatigue I would feel the day after a four mile run is gone. My body is responding and toning faster than I did before, as is my endurance and cadence. I love these shoes for short speed based work outs. You absolutely forget they are attached to you, and so you can improve on speed cadence and distance with ease and focus on breathe and the road ahead. Some critique: as a flat footed runner I am getting some arch pain post long runs. I wore inserts the third or so time I ran and it was completely distracting and felt like bricks on my feet so I removed them. I do wish there was more support in future generations as I am a MASSIVE Guide Rails tech fan, also the laces true to reviews are thing and overly long. I have to tuck them into my shoe so they are not distracting during my run, but overall the upper mesh is airy and breathable and have held up well a few months in. I am so happy with these, with limited improvements, Brooks is on track to make a ton more lifetime running fans that get a lot of bang for their buck with the Hyperion.

So far I have done 30 miles. They are very light and make you want to go fast. The heel tab is a little hard on the back of ankle so wear longer socks. Great shoe though!

I?ve been starting to add more speed work into my training in an attempt to get faster and I?m not lying when I say that the first time I wore them my pace dropped almost a full minute. I glide into the next step so easily and comfortably, these are now my go to shoes for speed.

I?ve been running for many years and have fluctuated quite a bit in my mileage. Tried lots of shoes, done lots of races. These are my favorite ever! They are a little narrow but that works great for me. They fit true to size, are super lightweight with very airy dry fur type material on the upper. I?m a neutral runner and prone to shin splints. I haven?t had any problems since I started wearing these!
