I wanted some shoes to use for running/walking. I walk about 2.5 miles a day for my commute and am training for a 5K. I was using a pair of Altras as my previous primary run/walk shoe. I loved the roomy toe box but the zero drop was causing foot pain for me on the ball of my foot because there was so much give in the sole. So I decided to try going back to Brooks in my usual size--just with a wider width. I hemmed and hawed about which shoe would be best for my running style and physical needs. Lo and behold, the Brooks website has a great selection tool for figuring out which running shoes will be a good fit for your body, gait, running style, goals, mileage, etc. The nearest running speciality shop is over an hour away and many of the techniques for determining best shoe type were included in the online Brooks guide. As usual, my shoes arrived incredibly quickly (yay, Zappos!). The width was perfect for my preferred thinner socks. If you like a really cushy sock, you may want to size up a little bit. But there are no seams or patches on the widest part of the foot at the joint and the upper fabric has a little give, so it is a good option for those with a slight bunion. Took them for a run this morning and they were perfect. Cushioned, stable, with just a touch of springiness. I love the lavender color with grey flecks. A nice pop of color without being too flashy for this 49-year-old.

This is my third pair of Brooks Adrenaline. Toe box feels fuller but I believe with time and tying correctly these will be perfect!

Like the shoe, but my foot tended to roll in these, even when walking.

Most well fitting shoe I’ve had on my foot in years. And comfortable too, considering getting a second pair to have a backup in case they quit making them.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are beautiful. I ordered a half of a size larger than my normal size per Zappos’s recommendation and the fit is perfect. I’m very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend these shoes.

I bought all the Levitate 2s I could still find in my size once I realized they changed the design for the 3s. I tried the Ghosts, but they didn’t have the energizing springiness & support I need. The Glycerin & the Adrenaline GTS are now my go to’s for everyday wear. Still not exactly the same perfection as the Levitate 2s, but better than Ghost or Revel.

I bought these shoes to replace my older Brooks Adrenaline shoes. Even though the new pair fit well and look great, I'm a little disappointed in the arch support. It seems that it is not as supportive as my previous pair.
