The fit was true, I always wear an 8.5 in running shoes. They look cute too. These are not as supportive as my Ghosts, though. The footbeds don’t feel as supportive in the arches. The tongue is also smaller and didn’t feel as secure and snug when laced. So, with with plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis, I need a really secure fit, so will be returning them to order the Ghosts.

The toe box narrowed down just a little bit but with the stretchy material I hope to keep these as I have a lot of difficulty finding shoes for my duck feet. I'm amused to read the reviews from people having problems finding comfortable shoes. I agree with them, Zappos. I'm thankful that I can find some shoes and appreciate your wonderful service.

They changed the back lip causing blisters.

I started running this past summer after many years of not running. I researched shoes to get to Brooks Adrenaline. I bought a pair of GTS20 which I lOVED! They fit perfectly. But after several hundred miles, I needs a new pair so I tried the GTS21. First Zappos recommended a 9.5 (I’m usually a 9), which I bought. They were roomier—but not too large. But everything inside the shoe was ‘off’. In my GT20, my foot felt cradled and supported. In the GTS21, the places where I previously felt support (heel, arch) were gone or too far from where I needed them. The inside of the shoe felt ‘flat.’ So they are going back. There were a few GTS 20 left (in horrible colors), but I bought another pair. Fingers crossed the GTS22 find their way back.

I have the Brooks Adrenaline 19. Got them for Jazzercise about a year ago. They felt like a dream the minute I put them on; cushioned and great arch support (I have high arches). I read the reviews on the 20s and so many said they were awful so I waited. Saw some reviews on the 21s and they sounded more like the 19s but they aren't. As to the 21s, the toe box is roomy but not as roomy as the 19s and the arch isn't even 1/2 of what the 19s were. I got the white with black speckles. Not sure if different colors are built differently. They are super good looking but nowhere near the build/comfort/support of the 19s. 2019 was my first purchase of Brooks and I could see why people raved over them. Sadly, like most things today, quality isn't consistent. Boggles me how they can have specific names for lines of their shoes. As a customer, you would expect to get the same necessary features just in updated colors and designs. Thank goodness I had a zappos coupon code. I will have to take that savings and invest in a good pair of arch support inserts. So much for actually saving $ on a new pair of shoes for me.

The shoe felt good except the bottom of the shoe in the toe box area seemed to lack the padding that the heal and arch had. Almost as if the padding was just stopped before the ball of the foot began. Also what happened to the blue colors in brooks adrenaline? Denim blues and navies are and always be best sellers because almost everybody wears jeans. Please pass this on to the Brooks makers. I wish they had been comfortable as I ordered probably at least 6 adrenaline 18 shoes and at least one adrenaline 19 which were great. Zappos thank you so much for making it easy to try some other brooks shoes because I am desperate to find a style that works.

Great shoe but within a couple of months of wear, the material on the inside of the heel started wearing off and now is completely visible. :(

The fit and size are fine. The construction of the shoe has made me decide to return these. They are coming apart. This is not the first pair that has done this. It happens on the right side. The tread is coming up, making them unsafe to exercise or run in .

They fit well but within 6 months the rubber bottom is starting to come off in several places on both shoes.

I've had several pairs of the same style, but this pair seemed to be cut differently. They cut into the side of my foot and were not comfortable.

I've worn the same size Adrenaline GTS for many years in 2E wide but the 21s are going back-- they are so tight that they make my feet go numb. The shoe's last appears to be the same as in the past, but the upper is super tight and leaves little room in the toe box. This is way more than a 'snug' fit. I'm not a large person nor do I have a 'high-volume' foot. The length is fine and the arch falls in the correct place so feel like the size is right--there's just very little room in the toe box. Very disappointing.

They have taken out most of the cuff padding around the ankle and made the tongue very narrow. The padding has been replaced with some type of wiry thread. The result is that the shoes dig into my ankles. They’re supposed to be for overpronators so the ankle roll should be addressed, not made worse. Guess I’ll stick up on GTS 20 which have correct ankle cuff padding and a normal shaped tongue. So disappointing.

I really like the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21. Perfect fit. I was glad to find another pair before they ran out. The GTS 22 are a bit too roomy in the toe box for me.

I’m a NURSE and I love these!!

I m usually a size 9-9.5 . ordered a 9.5 since the advise was go a half size up. Actually, the 9.5 was too small so I went to a size 10 which was perfect. They are the MOST COMFORTABLE sneakers I have ever had.

Very comfortable shoe. Able to walk 5 miles in them on dirt trails.

I ran a 10 miler with these out of the box, with an injured foot. They were ahhh-mazing. No breaking-in required, no blisters, no black toenails. I was replacing my old pair of Brooks Launch, and wasn't sure at first if the arch support on these would be enough. I'm now in love with these. For size reference, I wear a regular width but have a wider toe box. I wear an 8.5 in heels, 9 in running shoes.

This is my first pair of brooks and they are amazing! Much better than expected. I thought they would be bulky but they are just right. Tons of cushion and very comfortable!!

Excellent shoes that eliminated the pain from plantar fasciitis.

loved them left toes felt crowded for wide width though .... broke in next day

I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear, because they were out of my usual size. It turns out that I appreciate the little extra length, because it allows me to wear some socks that have cushioning in the ball of the foot, which I helps with chronic toe pain that I have. I normally wear a size 11 ladies, and what I bought were size 11.5.

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline GTS for 7 years, LOVE them, I buy the new style every year. I bought these after returning the GTS 22 which were way too narrow, tight and shoelaces too short. Love the 21’s so bought them again. Perfect! Loved them the minute i put them on, my feet are in heaven when I run!
