Love this update from the smaller size tongue to the cushioned softness, I really like this shoe. I walk my English Springer two time a day, I'm in my 60's, have bad knees feel like I'm sprinting in these. Although, it also helps that this pair, I ordered a 2E instead of a wide shoe.

Brooks sent me a pair of Adrenaline GTS 21 to try out and provide honest feedback for - Thank you, Brooks! I wore the shoes in my workouts for a week and can honestly say that it is now my favorite shoe. I tend to workout a lot and have had a history of plantar fascitis and bunions, so I really need support and cushion in my shoes. I tried the Adrenaline GTS a couple years ago after my previous "go-to" Asics Kayano narrowed its toe box. I have been hooked since. Since I already have older pairs of Adrenaline GTS shoes, I was able to compare some of the changes to the new GTS 21. This model is lighter and feels cushiony soft. There is a lining of mesh cushion that extends up the shoe on both sides. I think they call it 3D Fit Print Air Mesh. This is my favorite improvement - my foot feels nicely cushioned and the shoe feels more breathable. I also noticed that the shoe seems roomier around the ankle - they trimmed the middle flap (the "tongue") in a logical/clever way to be less bulky when you lace up. If you have skinny ankles, you can just lace up to the top to make it a nice, snug fit. The shoe also provides good support through agility moves with its "guide rails" and nicely supports my arches. I have worked out a lot in the past week (mostly kickboxing, HIIT, pilates rather than running), and I am loving the cushioned support and breathability of the GTS 21. Through all of my high impact moves, lunging, and jumping - my feet feel nicely supported. This is now my favorite shoe!

I?ve been wearing Adrenaline running shoes for years now and this new 21 edition does not disappoint! My favorite part is that the shoe is so soft in the toe box, that it literally already feels broken in straight out of the box! No pain points or rubs! I love the update to an all mesh toe box because it made even my longest run end without my feet feeling hot. The ventilation in the mesh allowed for better air circulation and no more hot spots. I actually started wearing Adrenaline because of over pronation leading to leg pain (and fractures), and the update with the guide rails is game changing. Super stable. I can tell by the wear on the bottom of the shoe that I have no pattern of pronating showing so far. Just from wearing the right shoe! I love these shoes! I received my first pair of Adrenaline 21?s free of charge for me to review with my honest opinion. Terrific update. I?m getting all the colors!

I was contacted by Brooks to try a free pair of the Adrenaline GTS 21. Received the updated shoe. Love the updates. The upper is soft and fits like a glove. The tongue holds the midfoot comfortably in place, but allows full motion of the ankle and foot. Allows my wide foot which requires a men's 4E width to have plenty of room with my insoles. The midsole is much more flexible but still supportive than previous versions, allows the kinetic chain to work well. The guide rail is better than the last edition feels comfortable. Overall a very impressive shoe, that corrects all the things I did not like in the previous editions of the Ghost and Adrenaline. I have ordered two more pairs from Road Runner Sports to go along with my free complimentary pair.

The shoes rub on my toes. They are not as comfortable as the Beast!

Fits like previous models. The tongue is narrower. I would have preferred it to stay the same width. I don't see an advantage.

Good arch support. Recommended by my orthopedic doctor. Ample shoelace length. Snug which I like.

The shoe did well structurally, but began to fall apart at 5 months in. So good for occasional use, not necessarily a good fit for everyday use.

I suffered a fractured tibial plateau requiring surgical correction and when I recovered enough to begin training again, I looked for a shoe that had cushioning as well as support. This shoe worked very well and I would recommend it for people with history of knee problems (remember to always follow your physicians recommendations). One thing, the fabric on the inside of the heel did breakdown fairly quickly exposing the underlying foam ( a little disappointed there). Overall, pretty good shoe.

I found them more supportive. However, notice the middle heal on the bottom wearing already. Could be my stride/gate.

I read one of the reviews. I must admit I agree with them the shoelaces do feel a little different from my previous pair. Nevertheless it has not changed the quality nor performance of the shoe. I work as a nurse and they provide crazy comfort. I love them!!

Best running shoes I?ve ever had. So comfortable, and my feet didn?t hurt, after running. I ordered a size too big, so I?d get your normal size. Took off one star because you can?t exchange, you have to place a whole new order, if you need to change sizes.

I like these shoes, they are definitely more structured than I?m used to and took quite a few miles to break in

I really like the shoe but for some reason it has caused some pain in my arch of my foot.

So comfortable and I feel like there?s more room in the toe box, but the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is I hate the shoelaces. They?re awful. I have to replace them.

I have worn the adrenaline style show for years and always have been pleased with the fit. My recent purchase is a much snugger fit than in the previous shoes that I have ordered. All in all, I like the shoes and would have given 5 stars if the fit was better.

I am used to a more cushioned shoe, but this will work for casual wear. I am a walker not runner, not sure if that would matter, but I prefer a softer landing. I really like the look and feel of this shoe, so I'll be wearing just for a knock around shoe.

I am returning these, I feel like they run small. The width is great and they are really cute, but my toe is inched up a little farther than I'd like. I am also not used to the height this shoe gives. I was going to give them longer wear to make my decision but because I feel like they run small I decided to return them after one wear.

I still prefer my ASICS , they feel softer or have more cushion , but I like the brooks too just not as much as my ASICS . Brooks are a closer runner up for me ! Definitely worth a try for anyone !

These shoes are Very comfortable! I love them! I did have to go up a half size because I intend to wear a thick sock with them. The colors are just what I wanted. No complaints!

The truth is I really wanted to love these shoes. They felt great EXCEPT the outside sides of the shoes were too high and cut into my ankle bones in a way I just could not get used to. The rest of the shoe was great. I kept wearing them around the house hoping I could get used to it, but after trying another shoe from REI I had to admit these just did not work...Almost but too painful right below and cutting into the outside ankle bones
I'd also recommend:

The inner sole on the right shoe was defective. The foot pad didn't meet the side of the shoe.
