I officiate HS football and on a whim purchased the all black version of this shoe. I have worn Transcend's in the past and recently purchased a pair of Glycerin GTS and really liked them. I wear these for almost all of my sub varsity contests especially on days where we have a double header. Depending on the game I am usually putting in 2-4 miles every day I work so these have helped with my leg and back soreness that I have after the game. Since we have a shortage on officials I am working games 6 days a week and have 2-4 doubleheaders days a week these have helped so much with my back and legs this season.

The shoes are great in most aspects. Great cushion support and you wouldn?t run slow in this shoes compare to other support shoes. So comfortable for long slow distance training and even can last for a marathon distance. Not a problem for a day to day trainer. The worst bit is, it can?t run on a wet surface. Don?t wear on a rainy day or after the rain unless you want to fall and injured.

Wore out quicker than earlier editions

As many others have stated, quality has slipped with the 21's, quite noticable compared to my 19's. 21's are softer, but sacrafice stability. I also experiece the toe box collapse, but I've been fortunate that my toes are not bothered. But this is still not a welcome change. Same with the narrower tongue. I limit my 21's to longer, slower foundation runs, and use my 19's when I want higher quality, faster paced runs. I guess this allows me to save wear on my nicer 19's, but it really should be the other way around. Brooks has gone backwards with this Adrenaline.
