Order half size up! Made all the difference. Walked miles in San Francisco with my daughter right out of the box. I upgraded from the Anthem model and worth every penny. I like a wider tie box and these are perfect!

I am on my third pair of Ghost 13s. I absolutely love them. They fit my foot perfectly. The holes for lacing are great for switching up the laces, which I do to snug up the heels. The cushioning is just right, and my 56 year old legs are feeling great through my runs. The cushioning in the tongue comforts the top of my foot without feeling bulky. I have a medium arch, and the insert shape is just right. Any distance - 3, 5, 13.5 - the Ghost does it all. I am not a speedster by any means, so I'm not worried about a fast shoe, but I don't notice the weight of the Ghosts at all, and I feel that they are responsive. My only problem is deciding what color to order next!

I?ve owned several pairs of brooks. These are my favorites! They are responsive & comfortable. I run a couple miles everyday and these are great shoes for the job.

I had to switch to wearing the Brooks Ghost 13 because the Glycerin 17 was updated and the new Glycerin 19 does not give me the arch support I need nor the extra room in the toe box in a wide size. Now I have to use an orthotic to give me the arch support I need. I hope Brooks goes back to making the Glycerin 17!

So far I am thrilled with these shoes. My biggest challenge is width and these were spot on. I purchased another brand in a wide width but they weren't truly wide. Basically there are only two brands that cater to wide widths. I have purchased NB shoes before and this was my first. Brooks shoe and I feel that they are superior. Even down to the laces that don't come undone (like my previous NB shoes). I hate crazy colors in shoes and Brooks had some crazy and in my opinion horrible colors, but I am happy with the neutral pair I chose.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. They are amazing. Completely comfortable right out of the box. Like walking on clouds. I have several issues with my feet - bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis- and those shoes give me all the room and support that I need.
I wore them to a foot doc appointment yesterday. He looked down at them and said he loved them. Not because they look good and are stylish. Nope. He loves them because of what a good job they do taking care of my feet.
I now have two pair and am likely to buy a third sometime soon.

While I do workout, (hardcore cardio and weights) I bought these shoes because I?m a teacher who is on her feet all day. I bought my first pair of Brooks last year and the Ghost this year. I?ll never buy another brand.
