I reviewed a different pair of Ghost 13 and gave a much better review. This pair is not good. Maybe I got a lemon, but I did notice that another reviewer said the dark color shoes fit differently than the lighter color - same brand, same model, same everything, except the color. This review is for the AsinB086T5WXKG ColorBlack/Pearl/Hushed Violet Size7.5 How could the same brand, model, size fit so differently? My plantar's hurts terribly with this shoe. And I tried to use my plantar's insole with them and that did not work at all. Almost made it worse. My Ghost 12 with plantar's insole was a dream. Certainly better than this shoe by leaps and bounds. And, better even than the lighter color that I also bought: Brooks Ghost 13 AsinB083QDQJKZ ColorGrey/Blackened Pearl/Purple Size7.5 WidthB - Medium Note - they are both medium. I am keeping the lighter color. See my other review. They are good enough. Now I still need to find a darker color that fits and that I like. The Glycerin does not have as good a review. Why is that I wonder? I already looked at the Ghost 14's and I don't see any colors there that I like that are still available in my size.

I have plantar's fasciitis and I don't even have to wear my plantar's insoles with them. I have to say that the Ghost 12 WITH my plantar's sole were actually somewhat better. These do not work with my plantar's insoles. That is a pro and a con. I gave 4 overall because I am pretty happy with them so far. I gave a 3 for comfort because they are not as good as the Ghost 12 though I will keep them. What really gets my goat with Ghost 13 is I also ordered a darker color and I have to return those as I cannot wear them at all. Same size. Same brand. Same model. And yet the fit is quite different. That is very strange. I am reviewing under a separate review.

The shoes fit true to size, were very comfortable from the first time I wore them and are doing just fine for my 5 mi. walks each morning!

Extremely comfortable to wear daily at work. I am on my feet 90% of the day on concrete.

These are my favorite Brooks shoes so far. I have a narrow heel and they don't slip on the heel. I did need to put a thin insole under the insole that comes with the shoe to raise my foot up slightly. Otherwise my heel bone hit the side of the shoe.

I love the color of these, the fit is always excellent with Brooks, great arch support, very comfortable, material is perfect, soft, and I feel like my foot can breath with these. Great shoe. My only suggestion is with Brooks, that they should give you a couple pair of shoe laces, one with a two color combo and one solid. Sometimes the laces need to be toned down.

They are very comfortable ! Would recommend !

Brooks Ghost has been my favorite running/walking shoe for many years and these are no exception. There’s always a little difference in the way they fit every year but still a great shoe. I think the 13 feels a lot like the Ghost 10. I always go up a half size from my regular size and they are perfect.

I have been wearing Ghosts for years. The Ghost 13 is the best. It's nicely cushioned, has a wider toe box, and I like that the tongue is a little narrower than the Ghost 12. Love that Zappos allows you to test your shoes for a month. With running shoes, how would you know how comfortable they really are unless you put them through your normal workout. Also, be sure to size up with Brooks. I typically wear an 8 1/2 but order 9 1/2 for Brooks -- which fit perfectly. I'll be ordering another pair for sure.

I have a pair of Ghost 11s, 10.5 Wide that I love. I use them almost everyday to workout indoors. So I decided to buy another pair, same size and width, since my last pair is a few years old. But the Ghost 13s are too narrow, even when I purchased it in wide. The side of my foot overlaps the edge, so it doesn't have enough support. I'll have to return them, sadly.

The shoes are amazing and comfortable! The "hushed violet" is more like a blush pink. Definitely did not expect that and it was a bit disappointing as I wanted something more muted like the picture. Overall they are great shoes and that minor detail I was willing to overlook.

These shoes look and feel great but seem to run short. I have narrow feet and like the width, especially the heel. I wish I had returned them before I wore them because now I realize they’re too short for walking comfort. I have the Ghost 12 and they were great.

I've had good luck with Brooks in the past. These are keepers.

I needed a good walking shoe for flat wide feet and I also have another problem resulting from a stroke a couple of years ago. These are perfect for my needs and very attractive. Wearing them on a long trip right now!

It is a great shoe. I walk 3 miles every day. This shoe has been great right out of the box. I do size up by a half size. I have a wide toe box and narrow heal and these have been perfect. I have just ordered another pair

Shoes were marked wide (which I ordered) but I could tell as soon as I opened the box that they really weren’t. Shoes felt much more narrow than a wide. Maybe marked incorrectly? Also felt small for the size. Return was fast & hassle free. Still love Zappos

The shoe is very comfortable, lots of comfortable room for the toes.

My feet are so happy. This is my first ever pair of Brooks and I'm not disappointed. I walk long distances daily and my feet aren't sore afterwards. I always went with Nike for athletic shoes, but wanted to try Brooks. They are a bit pricy, but the support is amazing and I'll definitely be buying another pair in the future.

Brooks have become my new “go to” running shoe. After a breaking my tibia, it has become quite difficult finding the right fit. These neutral cushion running sneakers are the perfect answer to my still healing injury :)

Fits great, I went up 1/2 size from my last pair and they fit better

We always order the Brooks Ghost for my hard-to-fit daughter. So far, the size is reliable and the fit is excellent. They also accommodate her orthotics!

I love these shoes the 1/2 size made the difference in a perfect fit. The color is great and I like ghost 14 better than ghost 14. Thank you Zappos
