It was perfect. I love them for walking.

Loved these so comfortable! Wore them for training for my first 1/2 marathon and ran in them for the race. They held up great!

This is my first pair of brooks but won't be my last. I work in healthcare and I'm on my feet all day, and my feet aren't sore by the end of the day in these. They're so comfortable!

I had foot surgery a year ago (metatarsal implant) and these were the first shoes I was able to wear. For months they were all I wore. A year later and they are still my go-to pair every day. I am replacing the first pair with identical ones and am thrilled to have the new ones for the nice cushy footbed. My foot healed so well I wore the first pair out walking the dog!

I have been wearing Brooks athletic running shoes for about 4-5 years now. First, be aware that for some unknown reason, Brooks shoes are now about 1/2 size shorter than they used to be. I am normally an 8.5 but I must get a 9 in Brooks now. It's not just me, my husband and a couple of friends have noticed that several manufactures have shortened their shoe length. It's really weird. Having said that, I do appreciate the quality of Brooks. Since I have bunions I have to be careful with an athletic shoe. I also have Plantar fasciitis. I am familiar with foot pain. Since Brooks shoes are now shorter, and the 9 did not give me enough width room in the toe box this time I ordered them in a 9 wide. I took out a tape measure and discovered the WIDE is not WIDER than their regular shoe. I compared with my old Brooks Ghosts (9 Medium/Regular) and the toe box, is the same. The insert, exactly the same. That is unfortunate and a little deceptive, but I am still plotting ahead to find some shoes so I can actually get out and walk/jog again. My solution I am going to try: I just ordered the Brooks 14 in MEN'S 7.5 EE Width. Brooks does not make women's shoes any wider than a D. Since their D is not really a D, I'm giving this another go and I may have to order athletic shoes in Men's sizes. Not sure what else to do. So...these are being returned. It has become a full-time job to buy shoes these days even with Zappos convenience.

They are extremely comfortable. I did have to order a half size larger, but they fit perfectly.

I love these shoes! I have suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past, as well as spinal stenosis and a bad knee. These shoes feel great and keep the pain from my injuries at a minimum. I highly recommend!

These offer a lot of support. I do not run in them, but I am using them for physical therapy. My other shoes were giving me plantars, so these are a game changer. Definitely worth a try.

Fit perfectly.

My feet fall between normal width and wide. So I typically have a hard time finding shoes that actually fit. These were perfect from day one. Love them.

I’ve suffered from plantar fasciitis and these sneakers are the only ones I’ve worn that have brought me back to a normal level of physical activity. I’ve gone from biking, to power walking, and now running again with zero pain. They’re very supportive and the interior cushion is amazing. This is my second pair and I highly recommend, especially if you are suffering from plantar fasciitis.

Podiatrist recommended Brooks running shoes even though I am only an avid walker. Footbed is very comfortable with good arch support, along with heel and forefront cushioning and these insoles are removable for your own inserts. It took a day to get used to a running shoe rather than a walking shoe and now, I will never go back. The fabric breathes keeping my foot at just the right temp, collared heel keeps my foot in a neutral position and the shoe, as a whole, keep my foot snug, but not tight.

The shoe has a little annoying piece of plastic at the foot of the shoe that gets your toes stuck on it when you point your foot/upside down/in back of you/in the wrong direction. Also, the thin material gets dirty really fast but should wipe right off when a damp rag is passed on it. The colors are OK but could be different.

I love Brooks sneakers and have been wearing them for years. Took these oou. ut of the box tried them adjust like I expected...perfect.

This is my third pair of ghosts. The fit and comfort in this shoe is excellent.

These were the most uncomfortable Ghosts I have ever purchased. The sole was very still and hard, and not comfortable for walking. Returned these.

The back of these shoes are too high for me, and the shoes caused rubbed against my heels for too long. I had blisters for a few weeks. Now the shoes feel comfortable, but the material has worn through in the back. For the price, these shoes should have lasted much longer. I will not purchase again and don't recommend them.

These are different than the last pair of Ghost 13's I have from a year or so ago. The box was not a BROOKS box - just a plain box noting that the original box was damaged. I know there are fake/knock off shoes out there and I just can't help but think these are knock offs.

The fit was perfect and I love the color, but I have high arches and needed more arch support.

I'm a bit spoiled by the Adrenaline line of Brooks shoes so the Ghost pair didn't feel as comfortable. Its not enough cushion for my daily 3 mile walks with an 88 pound Labrador Retriever. I use them for average daily activities, wearing around house, working from home, and shopping. I can't wear them all day like the Adrenaline pair. No matter how much I loosen the strings and tongue I have to adjust it throughout the day for comfort.

I haven't ever bought the Brooks brand but my husband loved his and suggested I try them. Wow...its amazing how "cushy" these shoes are. I have a wide foot and they are so comfy. I am an 7.5 or 8 and I got an 8 and they fit great. Highly suggest these shoes.

I agree with the size up a half size recommendation. I’m normally an 8, but ordered 8.5 based on suggestions. Fits perfectly. These are soft and cushiony without being bulky or heavy. Great for my longer runs.

True to size and fit, the material is soft and cool, overall the shoes are awesome!

It was the wrong gender sizing. I ordered Men's size 9 and received women's size 9
