These shoes are incredibly comfortable and supportive for my 12 hour shifts. They have just the right amount of cushion and are lightweight. They do seem to run fairly large though. All of my previous pairs of Brooks have been an 8.5, but had to size down to an 8 and if I order another pair for running, I will likely order a 7.5 (I usually wear an 8.5 in sneakers!). I do not have particularly narrow feet but the toe box feels very wide, and my feet feel like they are swimming if I don't wear a thicker sock. Still a great shoe though!!

LOVED the look of this shoe, but, after just a three-mile run, the shoes didn't provide the proper arch support for my type of foot, so I had to send them back :-(

These shoes are light-weight and comfortable on your feet. I didn?t buy these shoes to run in but they feel really good walking in them. They have plenty of bounce back with each step. I?m a nurse and was looking for a shoe that would help alleviate my end of the day foot and ankle pain. They didn?t take it completely away but I did see just a little difference. I purchased the Levitate 7 shoes which I?m in love with as they made the biggest difference in my end of day pain.

I'm in my 50s and I use my shoes to power walk my dogs, with a little jogging here and there. I do between 1.5 and 2.5 miles a day, 5 days a week. I had been an Asics fan until I was extremely disappointed with the newest version of my favorite shoe. Since Brooks has been making running shoes for so many years, and seems to have a good reputation, I decided to give them a try. Besides, how can you go wrong when you can actually use the shoes for 90 days to decide whether you like them? I was also impressed with the shoe-finding tool, which helped me select the Ghost 13. The only reason I gave this shoe 4 stars instead of 5 is because they took a while to break-in. The first time I put them on, I wasn't sure I liked the way they felt like they dropped off from the ball of the foot to the toe, and they didn't feel as cushiony as I'd hoped for. But, it was really interesting how they felt okay for the first 2 miles of my walk, then all of a sudden, they felt really comfortable. The second time I wore them, what initially felt like a drop-off felt more like the support I needed to prevent stressing my toes. A few years ago, I sprained my second toe because of bad shoes. To test my theory, the next day, I took a walk in what had been my favorite pair of Asics. By the end of my walk, my first and second toes were aching. Well, they felt like they always had, I just never knew they could feel better. Brooks is now my favorite shoe!

Comfortable supportive cushiony overall a very good running shoe

Have purchased others in the Ghost line - these feel different. When you pick them up, they feel to be a shell of the Ghost 12s,and I mean they feel cheap, hollow and not made the same way as those of the past. Once on, they are great, the same fit as is expected of the Ghosts. They just feel "less" than the 10 or the 12s I have run in before. I hope the 14s are better constructed.

I love these shoes! I?ve been wearing the ghosts since the 9s and, while I was hesitant to love these at first, as I put some miles on them, I fell in love again. I took one star away because 1) I find the shoelaces rather long on them and 2) I wear a wide and wish the wife?s were available in some of the other colors (especially that reflective pond/ice/pink option). Please offer some more fun colors to those of us with wider feet!!

I love Brooks Ghost and have always bought them for my running. I love the purples of this pair and as always, the base is supportive without feeling heavy or bulky. The only thing I was iffy about is the laces. They are more rounded and almost plush making it a bit more difficult to tighten the shoe evenly for running. On prior models the laces were more flat and maybe made of more vinyl? Not too certain but that is just a personal preference and I am sure I can buy those laces also. Overall great shoe and I?ll continue to buy Brooks Ghost for my running shoes!

These are very comfortable. I have been wearing Brooks Levitates for years and decided to give these a try. I like them but not as much as the Levitates. My Achilles have been very sore after my first couple runs in these, which may just take some adjustment to the new shoe. I love brooks shoes.

I've just started running with them but they feel great--they seem to support my feet and ease my knees. I wore out a different pair of Brooks which is why I bought these and so far they are just as fantastic. I like how breathable the fabric is on the uppers even if my toes get wet sometimes.
