I have found this Ghost 13 Brooks shoe fits better if you order a half size up. They are wonderful to walk in - very comfortable!!!

I am having to return as the right foot feels too small which is odd since my left foot is side that is usually tight.

They are a true fit. Not as comfy as I would like but the heel cushion is great.

Sadly, I think Brooks has gotten cheap in construction of their shoes this year, with increasing prices. I mostly wear the Revels, also a pair of gray/pink/black/white print Ghost 11s that had me hoping these new Ghost 13s would feel the same, and a couple of Adrenaline GTS 19s that haven't lasted long (1 and 1/2 years of rotating wear) and now hurt on the sides, though they still look just about new on the outside. Had the first Revel and now have two Revel 2s and a Revel 3, which feel like walking on energizing pillows and have great support. I have skinny, flat feet with narrow heels that need a slim-medium width in the midfoot and a round toebox. Brooks always run a half-size short, so although I am a size 8 I get 8.5 in Brooks. The Revel 4 is like a totally different shoe and not really cushioned, so I returned them (more like a Launch with a flat, straight, narrow base and upper fabric that creases). I also have a pair of Ghost 11s and wanted to get another, but the Ghost 12 was hard underfoot, not smooth and cushioned like my 11s, so I returned them, and now have to return these Ghost 13s because after wearing them almost one day the right one got a strange kind of vibrating, rippling pop under my foot in the front; I tried taking out the insole, making sure it was laying flat and put it back in, but it still pops. Never had that happen. I need black sneakers badly and was going to keep them as they fit, although they are hard both in the sole underfoot and in the uppers against the top of the foot and around the ankles compared to my Ghost 11s, but now they are defective so guess it wasn't meant to be. For $130 they should be perfect. Trying to replace my black Adrenaline GTS 19s and light gray/dark purple ones, which started to squeeze the outer side of my midfoot causing bone pain on both feet, only after wearing Adrenalines. Wish Brooks would go back to the fit and cushioning of the Revel 2 or 3s and Ghost 11s, and make the footbed of the Adrenalines just a little wider at the outer bone (base of little toe) in the midfoot. They also need more wearable colors, with black or gray soles. I like a fun bright color (have bright coral Revel 3s) and some light ones, but need the go-with-everything dark colors, most of all (no white or leopard print soles). (Black/purple, Black/cranberry/gray, Black/dark green, Brown/pumpkin would be nice.) I started wearing Brooks sneakers several years ago, after wearing Asics for years, until all of their styles that fit my feet got harder and more uncomfortable with each version. Now I am feeling that way about Brooks and don't know where else to get a comfortable everyday or running/walking/workout shoe.

Brooks has made the Ghost 13 now to replace the Ghost 12! The quality has gone way down. Before the Brooks insignia was a padded good looking style... now they put a very thin heat sticker. Looks like a sticker from a Dime Store . Why do you have to go down in wuality of your shoe Brooks??? If this shoe tears up you will be getting a letter and return Brooks!!! You use to be the best made shoe!!!

I’ve run in Brooks Ghost shoes for 10 - 12 years and have always loved them for their comfort, wider footbed and smooth ride. However, this last pair only lasted for about 150 miles before the treads were completely worn down to nothing. Zappos customer service was great - they took them back as a manufacturer’s defect and refunded my money. Really disappointed in the Ghost 13, but I’m sure I’ll give them another try sometime.

Lightweight and super comfy shoes! I put them on after working on my feet all day to run errands or work around the house. No wonder nurses love these shoes!

The fit is good - is roomy in the toe area. Nice cushioning.

This is the first time I have ever purchased Brooks before and I must say these are my “glass slipper”. I have never in my life found a shoe that feels like it was made for my foot until these arrived. I am typically an 8.5 in sneakers which is what I originally purchased. They just felt a tad too small. I easily and quickly sent them back for the 9 and they are perfect. I do have a bit of a wide foot so I did order a wide and they are just right. Not too wide and they don’t pinch anywhere. My posture is better in these shoes. My feet aren’t throbbing after a few hours; I feel like a whole new person. I have worn other major brands but Brooks are by far the most supportive for not just my foot but my back, hips, knees and ankles. Soooo grateful to find this shoe!!!!!

These fit just like the Ghost 10 with even more cushioning. Love them!

What I really like about the GHOST series is that, while providing good support, they are light weight. Good support for plantar fasciitis...
