Love!! Ran 4 miles as soon as I got them!!

This is a very comfortable walking shoe, and since i got the black color it goes with most everything. I am on my feet a lot throughout the day, and I am trying to walk at my lunch hour so its easier to not have to bring multiple shoes to work. This fits the bill, and the toe box is nice and comfortable.

Brooks are the only running shoes I buy. The wide fit well prior to bunion surgery, and now I wear the medium width. I wear them for exercise walking up to 8 miles a day.

I got the grey/blackened pearl/purple color, medium, and 1/2 size up from my normal 8.5. I report all of this because sometimes--sometimes--the feel/fit of a shoe can change a little depending on which color configuration I purchase. The 1/2 size up was based on review comments and also how my feet do seem to swell over the course of the day. This was the right decision for me. I've had this shoe for over a month now and it is the best walking shoe I've ever owned for comfort, no wear and tear on my legs, and the absence of pain/burning in my feet. These issues were unfamiliar to me until the last several years. My trusty Asics just didn't work any more so I went on the search. My chiropractor recommended Brooks (which I wore back in the days when I ran), but not all Brooks are created equal. I tried a lot of them but these are the Goldilocks for me. I don't have problem feet with the exception of a somewhat high arch and my narrow heel relative to my medium foot, but the ankle collar on these secures my heel well, which also helps keep my foot from shoving forward in the shoe. Their moderate cushioning works for me, and the cushioning is pretty evenly distributed so I can wear walking or just working around the house. When I stand in them, I don't cant (tilt) forward, which had been a problem for me with my weird hips. They are lightweight but not too much so. I forget they are on--I can wear them all day. Everyone's feet and bodies are different so I can't promise my great experience with these...but I'm going to buy a couple of these before they retool the machines. Just sayin'

These are my new favorite shoes! I have been a faithful ASICS person for a long time but the Ghost 13 have all the comfort and are more light weight. I have small, wide feet with high arches and these are shoes have been very comfortable right out of the box. I went with a 5.5 and B width. I feel they are true to size. Love the color (gray, aqua, and black). The shoe laces are a bit stretchy so you can get your shoes snug, but not too tight. I would recommend these shoes to a friend.

Disappointed with this purchase. I have been a big fan of brooks ghosts but this model feels much cheaper made and does not feel as cushioned as previous models. For the price I expected better quality.

I SO wanted to LOVE this sneaker based on reviews. To preface, I have tried many sneakers to be used exclusively for walking on a treadmill and only one mile to a mile and a half each day due to my auto-immune status. Years ago I found relief with the Merrell Grasbow Air and have tried so many sneakers but each seemed to initiate either knee pain, hip issues, pain in the metatarsals in ataxic gait. The Merrell shoe was incredible with a Scholl's gel insert after the insole was worn out. Upon trying the Brooks Ghost 13, I sat for a few hours just trying to let my brain get used to the feel of the shoe. My first walk was interrupted by the soles of my feet feeling like they were burning, something which I have never experienced before. I have noted that some have described this phenomenon. I tried again a few days later with very thin lightly textured running socks and the burning was less but that walk caused knee pain (awakening patella femoral syndrome which was in remission). After letting the inflammation heal I replaced the insole of the Brooks Ghost 13 with my Scholl's gel insert. This seemed to ease the knee pain and there was NO burning heat sensation on the soles of my feet. Last eve I tried another walk but alas, there was ankle pain that woke me in during the night, which has not happened before. These observations all suggest to me that this sneaker just does not provide the lateral and medial support of my feet that I need. The cushioning in the heel is fabulous. I think had there been a more comfortable sole I might have had more luck. I think this sneaker may work for most who are runners with no instability issues.

I read the reviews and really researched these. And they did not disappoint!
