shoe broke down quickly. Little pieces of sole fell off continually. Completely worn out after 2 months. Will be returning

I used to love Brooks, they were my go to brand (I've had several versions of the Ghost). However, in recent years, I've found they have been cheapening their materials and changed their sizing. I used to always wear an 11M in Brooks. I tried the Ghost 13 in an 11 1/2M over this past summer and found that they did the same as another reviewer stated-the top material folded down on either side and became incredibly bothersome. My feet are a tad on the narrow side, so I thought maybe I just needed an 11 1/2 narrow to resolve the problem. It was the same case with the narrows, although the shoe seemed to fit nicely otherwise. I hate to have to give up on Brooks, but I cannot spend $130 on a pair of sneakers for them not to fit properly. I am now waiting on a pair of Hoka Clifton 7's and keeping my fingers crossed that they will resolve my issues.

I liked the fit of shoe - just not appearance. Felt too chunky and clunky on my feet. I am a size 6.5 and not a runner. Was just wanting them for work. Really wish Brooks would make the Levitate 3 in solid black again. Those were my faves. But mine were getting old and I need a new Brooks sneaker.

These are my 2nd pair of Ghost brooks and I absolutely love them. I work in health care and have to stand for most of my day and these give great support. My heels used to hurt in other shoes and my legs and lower back would ache. I opted for the all black because my previous pair were black and they still looked brand new after 3 yrs of wear. They are great also for running in and are very breathable. I would definitely recommend these to anyone!
