I have a wide foot, underpronation and a very high instep. I got the size 9 wide (one size up from my usual 8) and it fit the size of my foot very well, but for my specific purpose (standing for 6 hours) I needed more cushioning, so I'm going with a similar style by Saucony that had more padding. I already use the Ghost 12 (in white) for exercise (walking), because it's deep enough for my orthotic inserts. Generally, this is a great shoe for my annoyingly-shaped foot, and I do recommend it.

Don’t love the color combo but it’ll do for now

These were ALMOST perfect. I breathed a happy sigh when I first slipped them on and tied the laces- nothing bothered my feet, they had perfect amount of cushion, fabric was silky soft and just thick enough. Walking around was wonderful, too, and I would have kept them had I not worn them for 2 days inside and found that they made my feet super hot. My feet would be throbbing with heat from walking around vacuuming or mopping my floors. I've never experienced this with athletic shoes. So disappointed because these were perfect otherwise! Will try and find them in a lighter color.

Best fitting shoe! I choose them for work where I am on my feet a lot. Perfect!

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Ghost - love these shoes. Great fit and they wear very well. But I must agree with other reviewers that Brooks has taken a great shoe and adorned it with the worst colors and color combinations. I hope the Brooks designers get the message before next years' model is released.

This is the best pair of shoes I have bought in a very long time. I work in a vet clinic and have to be on my feet all day. My feet don’t hurt after a 10 hour shift. I will be buying another pair soon!

I’ve had a hard time finding comfortable shoes, period. I really like this shoe and would buy it again.

These shoes have been wonderful for running! I have high arches, and they give great support. I also run on the outside of my feet (supination), and this shoe has great support for it. I could feel the difference immediately and love the extra cushion.

I love these shoes...have ordered 2 pairs. I do get them 1/2 size larger than my other shoes. But I do that for all athletic shoes so they can comfortably take my orthotic. The tread is great, and they are very comfortable.

They fit okay and feel comfortable, with decent cushioning and enough room, barely, in toe box. I ordered 6.5 wide, half a size up, and they felt and looked the same as my 6 wide in another brand. I wear a 5 wide in still another brand. Sure would be fewer returns if there was consistency in sizing! Not sure how long they will hold up, but they are comfortable for now and I am grateful for that.

Not sure about other things. Size is too small

These sneakers are 100% perfect for my less than perfect feet. Between bunions, pronation, heel spur, and former plantar fasciitis, they are hard to please. I had worn Brooks a few years ago, but when they changed the design from one year to the next I had to switch because the design and fit were terrible for my feet. I went to Asics and was comfortable in them. Not sure if I would have tried Brooks again. However, I realized on my way to the airport for a vacation that I had forgotten to pack my sneakers, so I stopped at a Dick's Sporting Goods store in a panic to buy a pair. I tried on my same Asics but also asked for the Brooks Ghost. The difference was amazing. The Brooks had a wider - not too wide- foot bed to accommodate the bunions. And the heel portion of the sneaker is amazing!!!! They are just a tad smaller in length than the Asics, but not enough for me to size up. I walked and walked on my vacation and was never once uncomfortable. Needless to say, the minute I returned from vacation, I ordered a second pair from Zappos and couldn't be happier. Please, Brooks, don't change anything in the structure or design of the Ghost.

Ordered this Ghost to replace a pair that had worn out.unfortunately, these were 13 and my old pair were ghost 12. After trying them once in zumba my ankles and knee felt weird so something on the support wasn't working for me. I had to return. But they were a very nice color and length and width fit same as ghost 12. I have since got a 12 and am happy
