I like it better than the ghost 12 however it is a little bit narrow in the toebox it has a nice spring to it I am a to eat with and they need to make more shoes in that with so I have a greater selection than

These shoes look great and feel great. Compared to the previous Brooks Adrenaline that I had they run a little more narrow. Even so, they are very comfortable and have become more comfortable as they break in.

Recap: I was having problems with my flat feet and low arch when I was running and doing HIIT (such as burpees, jumping jacks..etc) where my feet would hurt a lot during them (previously used crossfit shoes) I tried the ghost 13 and they immediately took the strain off my feet, I still felt some fatigue after using them on my legs but much less . The only reason I dropped 1 star is that I think its much better for running than it is for complex-jumping movements so I don't know if I can use it as a versatile pair of shoes long term. Comfort is great fits to size well

The only thing I dislike about this version is that the tongue of the shoe is pointed, rather than flat. Just a personal preference but I feel like this causes it to shift to the left or right instead of staying flat on the top of my foot. Otherwise a very comfortable shoe that I will continue to buy

My experience with the Ghost 11 was that it was a great running shoe, except that the sole was too segmented. In fact, it caught on a board at a race on a boardwalk, and I took a spill. My experience with the Ghost 13 is that it is a great running shoe, and that the same overly segmented sole is its only drawback. I would appreciate a less segmented design.

Nice shoes, good cushioning. I weigh about 220 lbs so cushioning is important for me with running. They slip in the heels more than I would like even with tightening up the laces tight but overall I like the shoe. I tried the Ghost 13 after having the Ravenna 7 and 8. I like the Ravennas a little better but Brooks makes a quality shoe and I will enjoy the Ghost 13.

The shoe is well built just not as comfortable as the Ghost 12. I think maybe they are just a little narrow. I was not a fan of Ghost 11, but they ended up being a good shoe for me. I am hoping that will be the case for the 13, especially since the look is fantastic!

I have been wearing the ghost line since the ghost 10. The biggest difference I noted with the 13s is a slightly narrower toe box. I don?t feel crowded but definitely notice the difference. I?ve also noted a thinner tongue which I find to be an upgrade. As a physical therapist I wear these to work and feel like they give my feet an ample amount of support. I am not a huge fan of the design compared to the previous mesh look of the 12s but I am hoping these make them more durable as my 12s have had some rips and blemishes. Overall a solid shoe and one I hope to wear for a long time!

Seems smaller than my Ghost 12s. I can wear them, but a bit tight.

The Brooks Ghost 13 runs true to size just like the rest of the Brooks lineup. They have a good amount of cushion. My only negative is that they are slightly heavier than what I'm used to in the Ravenna.

Quick Bio: 200 lb marathoner. About 50 miles a week on a bike path. High arch. I've run in seven models/12 versions of Brooks. I used to run in Brooks stability shoes because I'm a heavier runner, but since Brooks added the guide rails, I can't run in any of their stability shoes (The top of the rail creates a blister on my arch), so I've been trying netural shoes. In short, it's too cushioned! The tongue and even the laces are squishy! Even though it's not a heavy shoe, Brooks can certainly trim some of the weight off. For me, they were too soft, and as a forefoot runner, the softness and the wide toe box created a reoccurring blister under my big toe, which has never happened. I ended up exchanging them at my local run shop. I would recommend this shoe for three groups. People who run exclusively on city blocks. The shoe is built for concrete running and those times you step down off the sidewalk. People who have a heel strike (check the wear of the bottom of your running shoe), and 10K runners and Half Marathoners (training runs are under 10 miles).

Not many options out There for Wide feet running shoes. I had to buy these because my Nike epic reacts gave me blisters due to the narrow fit. Another thing I don't like about Nike shoes (With fly knit uppers) is that my foot tends to roll laterally over the side of the shoe. I've put about 50 miles on these shoes so far. They're very comfortable and light.

Very pleased with these shoes. I blew thru competitor's shoe with less than 175 miles and the running store suggeted I try the Ghost 13. I had to go up half a size. I life the snug fit. The heel counter is really stiff (can't it be a bit more flexible?) the padding helps. Comfortable at easy and fast paces, short and long distances (just completed a 20 miler--with only 2 weeks in the shoe). The cushioning seems more pronounced the more I run in them.

I think the increased loft in the midsole has resulted in a tighter fit. I have 11.5 in the 11's and 12's and they fit perfect (i.e. perfect amount of room in the toe box). Unfortunately with online shopping I wasn't able to try on in store and have been running in them (wouldn't think my size would change with the same model I've been using for years). Something to consider when purchasing.

Purchased these approximately 1 week ago. I've had a couple runs of these, ~3-4 miles each, and I'd have to say that overall I'm satisfied with the purchase. I bought my first pair of Brooks 1 year ago (Glycerin 17's), and at the time I couldn't imagine wearing any other shoe. It was plush as ever, most comfortable shoe I've ever owned and lasted quite a bit. However, something changed with this new generation of shoes. The glycerin 18's felt way less plush, stiffer throughout but mostly at the forefoot. I was very disappointed. Also, the cut of the ankle collar was way higher than the 17's, which made them so uncomfortable to wear that I had to return them. This brings me to the Ghost 13: my first pair of ghosts. Overall, the transition from heel/mid-foot to forefoot Is effortless and smooth. It's super comfortable and you can definitely feel the support. Like the glycerin 18's, the ankle collar is cut high and gives me discomfort at the lateral ankle. This is possibly a very individual issue and may not be a complaint of most runners. Nonetheless, that is my complaint with the shoe, albeit the only one. Hoping that the shoes just need to be broken-in a bit and the discomfort will resolve. I do wish that Brooks would lower the cut of the ankle collar or consider a "fly knit" or "sock top" type of collar to make it more comfortable.

Love the extra cushion through mid soul. Took about 20 miles before I felt the overall smooth cushion that is the Ghost series. I put a lot of miles on my previous 12 and will do the same with my 13 series. My only negative is the crazy long shoestrings. They tend to bounce up and touch my ankle area while running causing an itch. Feels like a bug is on my ankle at times. Ha! Overall highly recommend Ghost 13!

Good shoe, very similar to the 12. Not mentioned in the description for the shoe and the changes is that there were changes to the heel cup making it less padded. In addition, my experience has been that the shoe retains heat less than the 12, but not by a lot.

I normally wear size 8.5 and it fits well, but this one feels a little tight where you tie the laces, near the arch area. I think I need size 9 for this model.

3 stars may or may not be accurate. Last two years have changed for me and my running program is very poor. That said my first pair Ghost 9 were best ever and 10,11,12 were not a let down. But for some reason the 13 seems less quality and not as comfortable but again it could be just my current state. Hopefully by Ghost 14 I?ll be back in track and happy with my shoes.

Fits a little too snug. It's still a great shoe, but shouldve ordered a half size/full size up.
