I have only worn twice, so it it hard to give a true review. So far, so good. Not going out much these days.

I love everything about the shoes...except the tongue! Why would you make it so small? If doesn?t cover enough of the shoe to keep the laces from digging into your feet.

The Revel 4 running shoe proved to be just as comfortable as the Revel 3. I was given a free pair of Revel 4 running shoes by Brooks to test and really ended up liking them. They are probably the lightest running shoes I?ve ever owned. The support for my arch was spot on. I have the white and black and they didn?t even show dirt very much. I look forward to more runs in these shoes. Bev Waters

These are supposed to be trail running shoes. There is not enough tread on the bottom of these to be useful on the trail.

The fit was ok but the shoe hurt my instep. I loved the Revel 3.

Size was fine but such a difference in fit and quality from Revel 3. The flat laces are not suitable. Shoes already felt squished down with little spring or cushion.

I thought I would try the Revel after wearing the ghost and the adrenaline for years. They were not as comfortable for me so I returned them.

I bought these shoes 5 months ago and the sole of the left shoe has already split and separated. Very disappointed in the quality. I purchased the same shoe about two years back and they held up much better. I am returning and will have to find another model.

First of all, are these the shoelaces Brooks is now using for all its products? They are awful! I understand wanting to cut down on costs, but why not provide an option for people willing to pay more for better shoelaces that won't come undone or knot so easily? One is already about to break! Next, I'm sure this shoe is wonderful for other people, but I have been buying the Brooks Pureflow for many years (which has been discontinued), although I reached out to Brooks for the most similar style - this is just not a suitable replacement (IMO). It fits very well once I get it on, but it is somewhat difficult to push my foot inside the shoe, like the opening is smaller or something. Plus, I don't think the support is as good as the Pureflow because my back hurt after the first several days of wearing the Revel. Of course, that could just be my body adjusting versus any lack of support on the part of the shoe. As I mentioned earlier, this shoe is probably perfect for other people, but I will not be buying it again.

Loved the Revel 2. The other Revels 3 & 4 are not as comfortable in the toe box.

Where did the quality go on the Revel 4? I absolutely lived in the Revel 2. They were of excellent quality, extremely comfortable, very durable and always looked good! Wish I could find the Revel 2 even at a greater cost!

Did not realize these were “glittery.” They also have grosgrain ribbon for laces. I bought them to run in not to glitter in. Otherwise do the job just fine.

Fit is good but made my injuries act up as with Nike. Hoka One One is the only shoe for me!

I don’t like the sparkles all over this shoe. I prefer plain looking running shoes.

I’ve heard good things but was disappointed. The gel ASICS I got had way more comfort and half the price. Not sure I’d try this brand again.

I have ordered these shoes in the past but they don't seem to have the cushion or arch support they once had, therefore not as comfortable. Even the shoestrings are different and are harder to use.

I'm a little disappointed with the updates they did to the revel. Definitely not true to size. I could fit my thumb flat down above my big toe to the top of the shoe. I'm not a fan of the look, it reminds me of a golf shoe.

I did not think this pair of shoes provided enough support for my everyday walking routine.

The shoe was way too wide. It felt like there was no structure to the top of the shoe, making the material bulge out on the sides when I would take a step. The Revel 3 was great so I was expecting the same from the 4s.

My Revel 2 were much more supportive than the Revel 4. Bit disappointed in the change of design. And the laces never stay tied?

I love the look of this shoe and it?s comfortable for lots of walking but they are wider than the Purflow 7 so the fit is off. I wish the Pureflow had not been discontinued. It?s been my favorite style for over 10 years.

This Revel 4 is too big and wide for me. I love how light weight it is, but will be sending back because it is just too wide across the toes. I have a pair of black Revel 4's that fit me really well. Don't know why the grey is so much bigger. Material wrinkled a lot across my toes.
