Love my new Brooks! So comfortable and great for my sprints and short runs.

I have been wearing Brooks for a little over 3 years now. The Revel 4 are by far my favorite! They are comfortable and have great support/cushion. I run mostly on paved trails and they are perfect for it.

Revel 4 was recommended to me by Brooks staff as the closest shoe to Neuro 3 currently available. So far, I have run about 15 miles in them on mixed terrain (road, solid dirt, wooden bridges) and they were responsive everywhere without compromising the speed. A good and comfortable shoe overall, with enough support and cushion without feeling heavy or hot for runs in warm and humid weather, but they are bulkier than the Neuro 3 (I really wish Brooks brought the Neuro series back).

I purchased this shoe for a 32 mile route of varying terrain - grass, wooded trail, asphalt, and a short segment over boulders. I wanted a shoe that would be supportive enough for an ultra distance but responsive enough for an brisk pace. I also needed a shoe with adequate traction without being a dedicated trail runner. I tried them out on a few road runs and I liked the secure but elastic fit of the knit upper. It made the shoe feel snug without being constricting. Although they were comfortable for shorter road runs, I wasn't sure they had enough cushion to get me through a 32 mile run. I decided to go with them and they turned out to be exactly what I wanted. My feet were comfortable over the entire run without compromising speed. Conditions became very wet and slippery but the shoe provided enough traction for me to maintain my pace without slipping. In summary, this shoe provides a great balance between cushioning and responsiveness if you prefer a neutral shoe. It also has just the right amount of traction for varying but not too technical terrain.

Brooks has the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever worn! I have a narrow foot and they fit me great. I recommend them to friends and family often. Donna Klikus

Although I am not a runner, I do walk a lot and I keep a fast pace. My Brooks Revel 4's keep my feet comfortable and they look great. This is my 4th Brooks purchase and it will not be my last.

I have owned the Revel 2 and 3. I like the 2 the best. This shoe has a very flat (unpadded) tongue, and it's too short, so when tied, the laces actually touch your foot. Not nearly as comfy as the other Revels. The fabric isn't as comfortable as the older models either. and the flat laces to me, are a poor choice. The foot bed, and design are good, but the material selection, not so much.

I had been an ASICS runner for years. I got plantar fasciitis and friends recommended Brooks. They work amazing on my feet. Will buy another pair when these wear out.

I took the Brooks shoe quiz and feel my recommendations were very accurate. This is a great shoe for my daily 2 mile walk on the road. I also have the Caldera trail running shoe and these have a little less room in the toe box but that's to be expected for a road shoe.

I'm not an advanced runner, but it was time to replace my Nike Zooms. I was expecting to feel a big difference with these shoes, since my Nikes were over 2 years old. The reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I don't feel much more supported in the Revel 4's. This may be because I like a more cushioned feel, while with these I can definitely feel the road underneath my feet. I'm keeping them, though, because there's nothing bad about them other than that!

I freakin love these shoes. I have my orthotics in them and wear them every day to work. Yes be jealous I'm a foot doctor so they are a wardrobe bonus! Got them in white and they are really cute with my lab coat. I highly recommend. Dr. Kathleen
