True to size. 10/10 Comfort and Fit

Great running shoes!

I ordered these for a trip to an amusement park. I intended them to come a week before the trip so I could break them in a little bit and they ended up showing up the evening before we left. No worries though… I took them out of the box and they immediately became the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. Three days on my feet walking around all day and I never felt any discomfort whatsoever.

Hard to find good running shoe in large and narrow size. This one worked out great.

Great for running

The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned!

I wasn't sure buying shoes I hadn't tried on before. I have other Brooks shoes that fit variably from snug to true to size. These Revels are great in that the upper is all mesh so it stretches to fit without being loose. The sole is a cushioned foam that takes a little getting used to, but I'm a bigger guy so I'm probably testing more than the shoe intended. Overall good casual, walking, and running shoe.

I am 47 and getting back to jogging/running after a 10 year back and hip injury. This is my first experience wearing Brooks having worn NB, Adidas and Saucony and am looking for a shoe that provided support but not so bulky that I couldn’t interact with the ground but not so minimal that my lack of fitness and running technique wasn’t so apparent. I decided to try Brooks from recommendations from other runners in my area who are more advanced and who are also at my level are wearing Brooks. Brooks focus is on running and looking at the structure of the heel and sole seemed like the Revel 4 could work for me. On first run the shoe was immediately comfortable but not bulky or cumbersome. As I got into a good rhythm I felt confident that I could attain a good running posture and the shoe could help me just enough with cushion and guidance to reward a good stride but still accommodate the times when I got tired that my technique dwindled a bit. I’m surprised that compared to an AdiZero the Revel 4 feel just as light. Zappos recommended a size 10 but with other brands the size number ranges from 9.5 to 11.5 that have fit my foot. I chose at 10.5 and Zappos was correct with the size recommendation. I like the look of the Revel 4 Green/Camo? is just different enough but neutral can wear just normal shorts and a cotton tshirt and exercise with a very good performance shoe. I’m pleased with the Revel 4 and will buy Brooks again. Zappos customer service is great.

They feel fabulous on your feet and I walk 10 to 17 miles a day.

Lighter than New Balances I had previously. I like a lot of the colors and styles. They didn’t have first choice but happy with my second color choice.
