This shoe gives my foot an all over hug! You will love this shoe if you like that cinched down feeling when your laces are super tight---without having to actually cinch the laces! So you get the snug feeling without the tension across the top of the foot. It's like a snuggly foot wrapper. I've put a short five mile run in and it was the best run that I've had in a year - I felt connected to the road, no slippage in the toe box or heel. I just felt like I was flying - I could feel the energy come back from my strike. I am so happy I took a chance on these. Bonus - they look great - the black/white have a pearlescent glow. The top of the shoe is more open mesh than I'm used to (I could see the color of my pink sock) - but that is good for me because I live in a hot climate. I wear with Balega hidden comfort socks, so if you wear a thin sock you would have a little more room.

I bought these after years of running with Nikes. I noticed my shins were starting to hurt, so I took the quiz on this site to figure out the best shoe. I kind of assumed it was mostly a marketing thing, but I was pleasantly surprised. These shoes help my form and put less pressure on my shins during my runs. They were extremely tight to begin with; it took maybe 6 ish miles for mine to really break in. Even now they're still pretty tight, but I just switched to thinner socks and it's not that big of a problem. Hopefully, they'll lighten up after a few more miles, but if not, I'm still really happy with this purchase. An investment worth every penny.

Love these! Supportive and comfortable. I believe I?m an overpronator but on the lower end of the spectrum and these were great for me. I also love brooks as a company because I was able to try them out and know that I could return them if they didn?t work! So worth it !!

GREAT shoe! I got these in a size 10, I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 in other brands and styles. My feet are on the narrow side and this is pretty much the first pair of sneakers that actually fit my feet well- I usually have to cinch laces in all the way! I like the sock-like fit at the ankle and overall have found these shoes to be very comfortable. They are also so lightweight, and very comfortable and feel springy!

Same perfect feel! Color scheme wasn?t exactly the same as pictured, I ordered the white and teal. It?s more off white and greener teal than I expected. Still a nice shoe though. Feels great. Perfect and springy! I have odd shaped feet and require soft, stretchy fabric and they?re perfect dor me. I didn?t have any issues with the rubbing on my heels. I also bought the levitate 4 but had to use band aids to cover my heel the second use, but they broke in easily and now I?m obsessed with them. Brooks had the best warranty and customer service bends over backwards to satisfy you! For reference I?m 5?8 and wear 9.5, but bought size 10 in both and they were perfect.

So far, the Bedlam 3 is my favorite and best-fitting running shoe ever! I have an extraordinarily low-volume foot (AAA width and also very short, top-to-bottom) and these fit great - even better than the older Bedlams. I got the 1st-generation Bedlams last spring and put nearly 500 miles on them, which was a bit too much. I've had both ACLs torn (skiing) and replaced, and the Guide Rails in the Bedlam are essential for me to maintain good form and alignment - and my ankles, knees, and hips feel great even after 10+ mile runs. This version is definitely an improvement over the 1st-gen Bedlams in that the tongue is not attached (the old ones were attached on one side, and due to my low-volume foot, I had to lace the shoes tightly enough that the attachment bunched up and created a sore spot). Overall, these feel springy, they breathe well, they're not too heavy, and I feel like a million bucks running in them!

Great support, lightweight, and stylish! My feet pronate outward and I can feel the difference with the guardrails. Just a general note, I have narrow feet and I don't think these shoes are for folks with wider feet.

These are the PERFECT running shoe. Don't let the other reviews put you off, I read them and nearly didn't make a purchase, but I'm so glad that I did. I was worried these wouldn't be as good as my original Bedlams....but my worry was misplaced as these are far superior!! Firstly, when I buy new running trainers it usually takes a few runs to break them in, I get a few blisters etc. But with these beauties I didn't get any of that; from first run they were ultra comfortable and gave me no grief whatsoever...they immediately felt spot on. Now I know some reviewers have said that these trainers are too narrow and I will admit, if you have a very wide foot these may not be the trainer for you. However I've found them to be just right for my standard feet; plenty of room for my feet to expand after a few miles, not so tight they numb my feet, don't cause any pressure etc. Also the sown in tongue is something I don't mind but I can see why some people wouldn't like it, it makes the shoes tight to get on. But once on, these shoes fit like a glove! What I also love about these trainers is that I've always struggled with knee issues when I run, but since wearing these I've noticed this problem becoming less and less. They really do provide the support and stability that I need need running as I don't have a standard gait and tend to run on the outside of my foot. Thesw trainers are springy without being overly springy, they provide the right amount of 'bounce' when running to make them feel comfortable but so I can also 'feel' the road too. Also the sizing is spot on...I'm a UK 5 and decided to opt for a 5.5 to allow for expansion. This was a good call as they're very comfy when worn. The only thing thing would say is that these are very much road running trainers or for use on a treadmill. They're in no way ideal for trail running or even on slippy/muddy/wet surfaces. The grip is pretty shocking, but as long as you're aware then you'll be fine!

Loves these shoes. So supportive and comfortable. I will say I had the first version and these do run a little smaller than the originals.

I don?t use these shoes for running. I?m a nurse who works 12 hour night shifts. I also have plantar fasciitis and a bad knee and back. I initially purchased the Bedlam 1 on a whim to see if the hype was worth it. It was and I quickly bought a second pair. And proceeded to wear them out. This is my third pair and I love them. They are more narrow than the 1?s. However I only wear support hose with these so it?s not a problem. And these are strictly work shoes. If you had to wear socks with these they would be tight. Plenty of room in toe box. I like the springy step these have. Excellent support for my arches and great support for my knees. My legs do not hurt at the end of the shift like they did before I bought these. Max time I?ve worn is 15 hours. I can only imagine they?d be great for running. I love them for my busy 12 hour night shifts.

I love these shoes! Just got them for Christmas and they are my new faves. I originally had a pair of Ricochets, but these have so much more support. Please never quit making these!

I have knee pain from past injuries, ankles that like to roll, and narrow feet. The sock-like hold provides security and the wider bottoms give stability so I have been able to progress from a walk to a jog with no pain or stumbling. My outdoor exercise is so much more enjoyable without the foot aches and knee pain. I am in search for the right thin sock and I had to go 1/2 a size up but the exchange was easy peasy and fast.

My wife is very athletic and runs daily but has been complaining of knee issues with these other show brands from the constant impact. We did our research and asked around with trainers who all recommended Brooks. I purchased the Bedlam 3 for a holiday gift, and since using these the past week my wife has had no issues and loves the way it feels around her feet. I highly recommend these shoes as it?s made a world of a difference, and my wife is excited again to run at a high level.

I walk about 4 miles a day and have been using these for a few weeks. I have definitely seen my knee pain recede and my steps quicken. They do take extra effort to get on and feel too snug on my high instep by the end of the day, but are otherwise a great improvement for me. I was wearing Ghost 13.
