I have had several models of Brooks running shoes, including a previous Bedlam model. I purchased the same size as my previous model and came nowhere near fitting this shoe. The tongue is attached to the shoe so there was no give for any room, felt way too tight compared to other Brooks that I have worn and loved.

Very uncomfortable, worst brooks I've ever bought. Thin and narrow. Super tight fit I've had to loosen laces a lot. Causes shin pain, arch pain and heel pain.

Weird tongue and lacing pattern. I have a high arch and couldn't even get my feet into them. Send them back next day.

Run super small and have a funny opening where you put your foot in . It's all one solid piece with no movable tongue. I ended up returning them . If purchasing buy at least a half size up.

I liked the Bedlam 1. I liked the Bedlam 2. I hate the Bedlam 3. Not only is the 3rd edition at least 1/2 size smaller, it also offers less cushion. While the fit seems to be more snug (not always a bad thing), this edition feels harder and less springy. Please update the next edition to be more like 1 or 2.

Sent them back. Too tight/short compared to other same size Brooks i have - Transcend (which I think are discontinued), Glycerin, etc....sides of the sole is extra "shiny" as well - too much bling for me...

I think the shoes may be defective because the tong of the shoe is sown shut about 3/4 of the way up and I can not get my foot into the shoe. I am very disappointed with the product. I have been purchasing Brooks running shoes for over 10 years, both in stores and on line and your shoes have not only met but exceeded my expectations. That is why I am so disappointed. Please let me know what we can do to correct this situation. Sincerely, Jose Castro

I was a huge fan of the earlier Bedlams...definitely not the case here. They were a bit snug relative to all of the other Brooks sneakers I have bought that were my size so I waited to put my running insoles in. After ~8 runs I figured I would put them in this morning...big mistake. Massive blister on my heel. I really hope they bring back the old Bedlams.

Ordered the bedlam 3?s after having found great comfort in the originals and 2?s. The bedlam 3?! HORRIBLE. These are much narrower and way tighter than previous versions. To me, it makes sense that these are cheaper right now than the bedlam and bedlam 2?s. Why can?t there be width options? Why mess with good things??

Impossible to get a good fit. This shoe comes across the toe so and is so pointed I felt like I was wearing a 1940's women's high heel. You would think if a company does nothing but running shoes. They would understand that runners want a roomy toe box. Sad part is that the shoe is fine in the ball of foot area. So when going bigger sizes didnt help. And I guess the biggest disappointment of all is that as a big man this shoe feels to have more support than any I have put on. At my size it doesnt offer energy return. Rather just crush resistance with it being PU which I greatly miss in running shoes as the EVA I can put my hand in my shoe and feel every toe and each bone in the ball of my foot imprinted into them after just 3 weeks. Which is great for another 2 weeks like wearing custom orthotics. But then it crushes soooo much it begins to hurt.

I am a long term Bedlam owner since the first model. Last year I had an issue with my 3rd pair of Bedlam 2's and let me say customer service was awesome. They sent me a new pair of the Bedlam 3's. I put them in my closet and didn't even bother to pull them down until I all my Bedlam 2's were worn down. Well I just pulled them out this week. I was shocked to see what you have done with the toe box. The standard width has reduced the Toe Box by easily 1/2 an inch. The length has reduced slightly but now the Toe Box has been reduced and the knit has reduced the circumference even more. I have tried this week hoping the knit would stretch. This has been a shoe with a history of being for larger people to provide roomy support with an ample box. I am very disappointed to see it has been reduced in size so very much. Now I will need a wide just to maintain circulation in my feet. Its my fault to have let them set in closet for so long but who would have thought such a major change. So my lesson for you is 1. The fit is no longer like the Bedlam 1 or 2. If you loved your Bedlam 1 or 2 you better get a Wide and IMHO get a 1/2 size up. Don't get me wrong love their products are beyond top notch I have learned my lesson the hard way with model rebuilds. It just didn't stay true to the original design. Just go wide and size up I bet you will be happy.

I have always worn a size 9. In fact, I have a size 9 pair of your Pureflow 7, which fit me and I are great shoes. However, the size 9 Bedlam 3 was so small that I could not get my foot into it. On another note, because the Bedlam 3 didn't work I decided to order another pair of Pureflow 7. However, the only sizes available were 7 and 14. I'm going to have to go to another Brand.

For some reason these are stupidly narrow. I have a narrow foot and have run in narrow shoes my whole life. I have no idea who's feet these will feet. Pinky toes are super pink.

Shoe fits oddly tight and not long period of time wearing friendly. First out I?ve ever owned from Brooks that I?ve been highly disappointed with.
