I had the opportunity to try a free pair of the new Bedlam 3's from Brooks for my honest opinion so here goes:
They were a little challenging to put on the first time due to the new upper design but once they were on its like a perfect fitting pair of gloves but for your feet. There was no binding or pinches across the top by the lacing.
The new material is supportive yet cushy and breathable. I could actually feel the wind cooling my feet the first time I ran on a hot black top road.
Finally, I could feel a much more responsive energy return with each step and less leg fatigue after my run.
So in my honest opinion, they are everything Brooks says they are.

Decided to try Bedlam after being a devout Adrenaline wearer for over 10 years.
Bedlam provides arch support and cushioning comparable to Adrenaline but the toe-box is more narrow.
I am only doing short runs (less than 5 miles) for now. My knees, hips and ankles are happy and I have not had any toe issues.
Great sneaker overall but may not be the best choice for those who like a lot of room for their tootsies.

Overall a pretty good shoe. It's a stable shoe that remains fairly comfortable for moderate runs (30 miles/week) I liked the design and look of the shoe. One item to consider is the shoe has a narrow fit. Based on the fit, and not a lot of cushion, I don't think it would be my running shoe if choice for high mileage.

I happened to buy these at my local running store when looking for a faster shoe I could use on my speedwork and tempo runs for marathon training. The shoe fit is definitely on the snug/narrow side but the upper really hugs your foot. The cushion is not what I would call plush, but rather springy (again, what I was looking for), and very stable for someone like me who overpronates. You really feel the road in these shoes and the cushion really encourages a quick turnover.

I am not a runner, rather a walker with several old ankle injuries. Great shoes, very stable, very happy. The only critic I have is with the tongue. Not much padding there and causes discomfort from the laces on the top of the foot if worn too long.

My background: middle distance runner (1600m PR 4:29, 800m PR 1:58) so I've hit a variety of workouts, but no runs longer than 8-10 miles so far. Felt great after a 3 mile tempo run to test them - lots of support, great cushioning and overall grip to the foot. Did repeat 800s and 400s and felt light on my feet - very responsive to road running. However, I did start to notice that the neck of the shoe surrounding my ankle began to rub a good amount on the back of my Achilles and I formed blisters especially after I did 10x100m strides. So that is my one knock..the cuff is pretty stiff at the back of the ankle so be mindful of that. Nothing some bandaids and higher socks can't combat. Other than that, the shoe has performed well...but there is some room for improvement. Will post a follow up review in a few more weeks. Thanks.

I love Brooks BUT GET THE GHOSTS MODEL! I've ran through 6-7 Ghosts pairs over the years and decided to try something new. The Bedlam felt great and I actually nearly ran my PR using these as my trainers. After about 450 miles, these started to get painful. I know that its recommended to get new shoes after 300-500 miles but the Ghosts really last forever and I blew through these. I do believe that these were better for trail running and races.

The Bedlam 3 is a fantastic shoe. I received these shoes free of charge from brooks to review and test. Right out of the box, I noticed how light the shoes are and I got many compliments on the look of the shoes from my kids to my co-workers. When I examined the upper, midsole, and the tread, I found the shoes to be solid in construction. The upper didn't have a lot of seams on it that could come loose. On my first run wearing the Bedlam 3, I didn't wear my custom orthotics and my body felt great after the two-mile run. One thing I noticed on the run, was that the tread was kind of slippery on wet pavement. The mid-sole is very responsive, but supportive. So, for someone with a pes planus foot that pronates, but doesn't have a history of foot or knee problems, I believe the Bedlam 3 would be perfect. I appreciate the opportunity to test and review the Bedlam 3.

I normally run in stability shoes due to my overpronation and typically lean more on the cushioned side of design, preferring shoes with ample cushioning to soften the repeated blows to the foot. So in all honesty, this was my first pair of stability shoes that were designed for energy return. They took some getting used to at first, considering my normal preference for cushioning, but after doing a few shorter runs in them to test them out, I found them to be a very responsive shoe.
I really liked the design of the upper, which gave the shoes a more sock-like feel. I could tell a difference in the heel drop from, say, the GTS 20s that I run in most frequently, but it wasn't so much of a shock that I felt it gave my feet any trouble. On the energy return side of things, I felt a more of a connection between the foot and the ground, some of which came from a reduction in the amount of cushioning I'm accustomed to, I'm sure, but also some of which came from the design of the shoe, in that I felt more momentum coming from the propulsion off the road than normal. That was an interesting feeling that I liked, as I felt like it helped smooth my stride somewhat compared to the bulkier design that comes naturally with more cushioned shoes.
I will certainly continue to run in the Bedlam 3s for shorter runs to change things up between them and more cushioned shoes like the GTS 20s. As of this point, I think I will stick with the GTS 20s for my long runs, but that's no fault of the Bedlam 3s as a shoe--it has more to do with me preferring additional cushioning for the higher mileage.

I received a free product in return for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Right off the bat you'll notice that the Bedlam 3's are a lot snugger fit than the Adrenaline's.
The soles are also a lot thinner, have less of a heel drop and are less cushiony - you really get a feel for the ground and
know immediately if you get tired and start to get sloppy and heel strike. They're also a lot lighter, but the tread pattern is pretty shallower and doesn't grip as much.
They can be a bit rough on the back of your heels because the top of the back doesn't have as much padding as older models.

These are lot as comfortable as my renegades and are a little heavier. My foot doesn't sit comfortably and sometimes shifts when I'm walking or running.

Love the color and sleek look. Liked the grey mid sol for work. Unfortunately the shoe's fit was too snug. By the end of the day, when my feet are larger, I had blisters.

Size runs a bit small. Having trouble with rubbing on the heel; haven't had that problem with other Brooks shoes. A little more difficult to get on because of the elastic at the top. Not the best for extreme cold or snow.
