If you are like me, yoy might be wondering the difference between the nylon and the caribou. I would say go with caribou if you are in the snow and ice. The grippier traction on these is insane. You will never slip. If you are buying these more for a warm boot to be used with street clothes, the nylon boot is less bulky and has all the insulation qualities.

I missed out on these boots in my size last year so I jumped on the opportunity to buy them and purchased in September as I refused to miss out again. I just had the chance to wear them this past week during the first snow storm of the season. Both boots were easy to get on and tie. I was pleasantly surprised and they fit like a glove. The boots came laced up. They look big and they are but do not hamper mobility or feel clunky in anyway. They have been incredibly warm during below freezing temps and cleaning snow/ice. I do not have to worry about footing even on mild ice storm. The traction is excellent with evidence by your complete footprint left. As easy as they were to put on both boots came off in a cinch. I love my Sorel Caribou Stack boots and highly recommend for their function, style, and comfort.

I bought these for my hubby for an early Christmas present. His normal shoe size is an 11.5 to a 12. Due to customer comments about this running a half size large, I got him the 11-too small. We returned them and purchased the 11.5-perfect. I would say these run true to size. He likes them because they'll be warm in the winter and have good traction on the ice and snow. Great for dog walking! They're well made and should last a very long time.

I purchased a pair of Mens Caribou Stack boots around 9 years ago and was amazed at how well they fit and how comfortable they were! Wearing a size 15 you sometimes have to sacrifice comfort but definitely not in this case. Donated the boots to a homeless shelter 7 years ago when I moved to Florida, but we're back in Indiana and I'm ordering another pair for this coming winter.

Don't size up... For example. If you wear a size 12 in Asics running shoes. you buy size 12. It's NOT true to size. I tried on a pair, True to size and it didn't fit. to small...

Great foul weather boot. Easy and durable updated lacing system, very warm, and seem to provide excellent water proofing. Based on reviews of others, I ordered a half size down and glad I did, especially as I have a narrow foot. Wonderful when using our snow blower to clear the driveway after a big snowfall.

I'm a size 10, so I bought a size 9 and it fit just right. The boots work excellently so far. I've been in the snow for an hour for a couple of days and my toes and soles were comfortable the entire time. I've read other reviews that complain that the boots don't last e.g. cracked soles; if this happens after a few months, I'll update my review.

The boot will keep your feet warm and dry. Also, great traction in the snow.

Simply put. These are amazing. My wife talked me into buying these and investing in good winter boots and I'm sure glad I did. Normally for playing in the snow and cold football games I'd wear a pair of leather work boots with thermal socks. Last night I shoveled 8 inches of ice and snow off of my driveway with regular ankle socks on and my feet were so warm! They're comfortable and exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth the investment!

I purchased my boots a half size larger than normal so I could double up on socks if needed. They are very roomy! Soft and comfortable. I have been in 0F weather with one pair of wool socks and my feet were warm for hours. Lacing/tightening is easy and getting them off is very easy. So far, I am very happy

Very good quality. The reason I bought a new pair of boots was the Sorels that I normally wear in the winter I bought in 1984 and the soles are worn off and me being 62 the wife was worried about me slipping and falling

I got these for my husband who is a size 9 in his other shoes. These run a full size big. Now that we've gotten him the correct size, he loves them. They look much nicer on than the standard Sorel winter boot.
