I first ordered a size 8 and it was to tight, so I sized up to an 8.5. After about a couple weeks of wear the size was way to large, and dangerous as it has a heel and my foot was slipping around. I should have stuck with the 8, knowing that it would get bigger with wear.

I really liked these boots but the velvet tan color looked different in person. Returning for the black. They fit true to size and are comfortable wearing for my work day.

They fit well out of the box. I don’t often wear shoes with a heel so I felt like my feet slid down into the toe box. However, when I added my custom insoles (a thinner version, I don’t think a thicker insole would give me enough room) and wore some less slippery socks they worked well. I’ve gotten many compliments on them.

I loved the style of these boots. I would buy 1/2 size down from what you normally wear.

Fit is good - a little narrow but won’t be a problem once they get stretched out. Careful not to wear them with socks that are too low. Had some rubbing against my ankle.

Surprisingly comfortable walk in these shoes. The soles are grippy and secure. The front top at the ankle is a bit stiff and could rub if having to walk up lots of stairs.

These fit well, but I was hesitant to keep them because the hit the top of my foot due to the cross leather on the toe. Wasn't sure if they'd break-in in time for a trip where I will be doing a lot of walking. Love the style!

This is why I like buying shoes from Zappos. When these boots arrived, I was excited about the design; but I could not get them on. I could not stretch the opening enough to get my foot in. I put them back in the box, ready to return. But a day later, I tugged and pushed and finally got them on. Again, I loved the styling and the color. But the leather rubbed my ankle. But I wore them around the house a while and I realized they were comfortable and getting less irritating around the ankle. I decided to keep them and I love them. In spite of the discomfort, in the beginning, they are the boots I choose to wear most of the time. Although they still take a little effort to get on. Having the chance to wear them in the house is the advantage of shopping at Zappos.

I have narrow feet and a high arch… and I LOVE THESE SHOES! They have enough of a heel to feel good/supportive, the wedge is stable, and the rubber bottoms are the absolute best part for me! They are a little stiff at first, but overall very comfortable and cute. I am a teacher and can wear these to school all day, 10k steps.

Super cute boot. Easy to get on and off even with wide/flat feet. I am only returning them because the top of the boot is not very flexible and it was hitting my chin walking around the house.

I loved the style- pull on, waterproof and stylish. I ordered a half size larger to wear with a winter sock. Shoe just fit. Walked around the house in the morning- felt it would be uncomfortable as the day wore on.

I have ordered and had to return so many pair of Sorel shoes; I never know how each one is going to fit. Based on past experiences, I went up half a size on this bootie, but they were too big--I walked right out of the heel. Cute style, although they are a bit stiff. Anyway, I will return for my usual size.
