The boot itself looks great but they definitely run small. I wish I had gone ho a size.

I loved these boots from the minute I saw them. I've been eyeing them for a bit and I finally decided to take the plunge. And I love them!!! They're everything I hoped they would be- except the top where it rubs your ankle to lower leg area. I've worn them them around the house with varying socks & the top of the boot rubs and hurts. I was hoping it would soften with some time, but it hasn't yet. I'm in fairly good shape and don't have kankles so this really shouldn't be an issue. They fit well and are incredibly comfortable everywhere else. Sadly, i will probably have to send them back though.

I should have listened to the other reviewers more closely when they complained of how easily these scuff. I'm not sure if mine were damaged via the delivery or someone returned them and I ended up with the defective shoes - because when I received these, they had scuffs all over. Also, I went up a half size and they were still a bit snug. I'm fairly disappointed with these boots and will be returning them. It's a bummer because I really wanted to like them. Giving them three stars for great sole construction and rich color.

Very cute shoes and waterproof but very difficult to get on and off. They must be worn with high socks as the top of the boot is rough and rubs against your skin. I learned that the hard way

I returned the boots since the shaft seemed very stiff. I wasn't sure if they would soften with time or not. I did like the way they fit and my orthotic fit well after removing the sorel insole. Maybe I should have kept them, but didn't take the chance.

Wasn't impressed with the look of the black color. Didn't have the quality look I wanted. The comfort did seem satisfactory thought the boot was a tad bit short for me. Normally a 10 fits perfectly.

I'm normally a true 8 in Sorel's I have a bout 10 pairs of different boots/shoes in a size 8. I've tried this boot and the other simmilar cut boot sorel released this year and the 8,8.5 and 9's ran so small and narrow. I returned all of them.

The fit is tight for the size I usually wear even with thin socks.

Very cute, but not comfortable! Too stiff and hard to get on. It feels like your getting a bruise on legs if you don't have high socks on. The sizing is a half/one size too small. They get scuffed and scratch marks really easily! Only wore them for 20 min in my house to see if i wanted to keep them and already had marks. Had to return.

I feel like these shoes are really hard to get on. They cut the back of my leg an I only went out for an hour walk. Then I thought I should try again maybe they just need breaking in but they dug in again. I'm not sure how long you would have to wear them to soften the leather on the back.

I bought these and the Women's Ainsley Chelsea Boot, and I like the Ainsley booties a lot more. These boots are definitely cute, but in my opinion not nearly as comfortable as the Ainsley booties. I did like the brown leather and small heal. When I buy shoes I like when they are relatively comfortable right away and these boots just weren't. Maybe with some breaking in they'd be more comfortable but since the Ainsley booties was comfortable right away, I went with that one. I normally wear a size 7 but sized up a half size to a 7 1/2, which was the right fit.
