These boots need wearing to "soften" them up and make it easer to slip on. Once on, they feel great, wear well and I like the height of the shank for jeans, capri's.

After reading reviews, I planned for the smaller fit and ordered a half size larger than my usual size. That fit me well. As far as color, I'm adding a picture, but I felt these were more grey than green which is what I wanted. Second boot is black for comparison purposes.

Based on reviews I went up a half size, glad I did. Usually a solid size 8 ordered these in 8 1/2 and the bigger size is perfect. The elastic band on the shaft is a little too snug for my liking - hoping it will stretch out over wear. Not much arch support but you can remove the lining and use your own inserts. A super cute boot, will get lots of use from these!

These boots are so comfortable! 1st time out in them I walked a few miles at a football game. I had one issue though, after walking a mile or so the bottom on one of the boots was super slick. I actually slipped down a concrete ramp and landed on my back. Not sure why only one was slick. There was nothing on bottom of boot and nothing slick on ramp. So heads up.

I love Sorel and have numerous pairs all size 5.5. However, these felt very tight in 5.5. I will have to try a 6.

These are super cute and fit my feet well. I do tend to be on the big side of size 10, so sometimes a 10 works and sometimes it doesn't. In this case I needed them to be just a smidge bigger so I returned them and ordered the 10.5's. So happy that Sorel makes this size, many brands don't.

I have never had luck with Sorel sizing - they are either a half size too big or half size too small. My current go-to boots are Ugg 9.5 and Born 9. I originally ordered a 9, and I could not even get my foot into the opening. The elastic side gore doesn't give much, and the instep is narrow. The 9.5 is a bit better. I struggled to get them on with thin socks; the instep is quite snug but my toes have room to move. My foot doesn't slide forward. I probably could go with a 10 and wear any kind of socks, but I will keep the 9.5 and hope they give a little with wear. If you are ordering them for the first time, I suggest going a whole size up (especially if you have a high instep or wide feet). These boots are gorgeous. They are a deep rich brown and the stud detail is noticeable up close. Nice, rigged outsole and the inner sole is just a tiny bit cushy to walk on. Good luck!

I can’t speak to the comfort as I couldn’t get my foot in. I tried the Chelsea stud in 1/2 size smaller and had no problem. Very strange.

This boot is incredibly heavy. Very unlike past Sorel boots that I have. It’s also very difficult to get on and off given the opening doesn’t stretch very much. Disappointed as the style was exactly what I was hoping for but he comfort just isn’t good enough for the price. Will be returning.

These boots are next to impossible to put on. The elastic is so tight that one cannot expand it enough to get the foot through the opening. Purchase a metal shoe horn if you just want to try them on. No zipper or flap.

I bought a size up, based on other reviewers' comments. I wear an 11 in most shoes. Although many mfrs aren't even making them true to size. There are no half sizes up from a woman's 11, so when shoes run small, I normally don't have options. I also have more narrow feet than most, so this size 12 just wouldn't have worked even with thicker socks. The length of the boot was just barely right for me. I thought the toe box was narrower than what would match the width of the boot from the ball of my foot to the heel. It was like trying on men's shoes. I actually thought I'd gotten a man's boot - by mistake: too large looking on the outside, too wide, and not at all feminine. It's disappointing at this price point to find such awkward sizing issues. I had to return the boots.

These are the best boots that I've ever owned. I am a teacher and on my feet all day and these shoes are so comfortable! I am normally a size 8.5, but ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly. I loved them so much that I now own them in both black and brown.

They are so comfortable. Not too heavy or bulky. I wore them all day moving around the whole time. Highly recommend!
