I have been a huge fan of Sorel booties for work. I have worn another style to work almost every day in Fall and Winter for the past 2 years. I'm on my feet most of the day and my old booties are super comfy. I decided to switch it up with a new style with the Blake bootie. They are very cute. Even my husband noticed and commented on the boots. However, even before lunch, my feet were killing me. The heel is slightly higher than the Joan of Arctic Wedge II Chelsea and very chunky, so they were honestly a little hard to walk in. My feet ached and I couldn't wait to get them off at the end of the day. I love the way they look, so they are great for dinner or a night out, but they will not be in my work rotation. It's unfortunate because I am willing to pay so much for Sorel due to their ability to withstand the weather as an everyday boot, not just for special occcasions.

I saw these boots online and couldn't get them off my mind so I bought them and I am so glad that I did. They are amazing... they manage to be a basic black ankle boot and yet at the same time have enough stylish elements to make them feel fresh and different. I walked around in them all day today and it was like walking on a cloud, no pain at all. I don't know that I'd wear them if I had to be standing on my feet for an extended period of time, but for walking and moving around they're perfect. They fit perfectly true to size as well which is huge because I've had fit issues with other Sorel booties in the past. MUST buy.

These shoes are gorgeous! They run narrow so definitely size up at least 1/2 size.

Great bootie! Comfortable to walk. True to size, but maybe just a wee bit on the narrow side. Have broken in well have a couple wearings.

I've had these boots for about a month, I've been slowly breaking them in and I love them. I wanted a black pair of everyday sorels that were more on the "dressy" side but were still casual. They go with just about everything and I'm happy with the purchase. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is bc the leather digs into my ankle a bit. I'm sure this will go away and I continue to break them in.

Nice shoe, very comfortable. I actually ended up returning because I have this boot in the previous style from probably 3 yrs ago that is still in good condition. The heal is pretty high, and they seem on the dressier side.

I love the way these look. They're unique and go with everything. But, they are shockingly uncomfortable. I sized up a half size, which helped. But my feet hurt by the time I walk to the end of my block. Hoping that it's because the toe bed is narrow and maybe once they stretch (if they stretch), they'll be better. Certainly not the all-day Sorel shoe I'm used to, which is a shame.

I bought these in a size half up and in grey because black was out. They're too big, too narrow as always, but wanted to see if my right size might work. I called and customer service kind of barked at me that another batch was coming in October, so to wait until then to return them. I stopped looking for fall boots, because I assumed what she'd said would be true. I waited all month and nothing still now in November, and I seem to be stuck with unwearable boots in grey a size too big. Just wish theyed either known what was going on or the truth. Customer service is usually great but what a let down. I guess I could dye them black and wear 3 pairs of socks...very unhappy .
