The Asics Gel Cumulus is my go-to running/walking/training shoe and has been for years. This is the #22 and usually, this shoe runs small so I go up a whole size. However, that was too much this time. Just needed to go up a half size. Still a great shoe!

The most comfortable running/walking shoe I've ever had! New to ASICS and am now a convert. Do size up a full size, though. I wear an 8, but usually an 8.5 in this type shoe in other brands. Ordered both 8.5 and 9, based on recommendations of others, and the 9 is perfect. Lots of room in toe box, but good support in heel. Arch support is just right for me, and the laces aren't too short.

Comfortable and light-weight. They fit in width very well by feeling secure and yet leaving room for feet to swell on longer runs. I like that there's gel as well as foam as it seems to last longer than foam alone. This is my second pair in this series!

I having been wearing Asics for years. I have through the years been putting in an orthotics because I have such problem feet. With Asics Gel-Cumulus 22 I didn't have to do anything but the shoes on and tie them up. Super comfort. I don't run but I walk and they are truly comfortable.

I ordered these shoes looking for an alternative for the Gel-Nimbus. I thought that these shoes felt very similar to the "old" Gel-Nimbus. They were very supportive; the toe box wasn't too small, either. I did, however, have to return them. I have been having issues with some toes on one foot - needing some extra support under the toes, and these shoes just didn't help any. However, the Gel-Contend 7's were perfect! I have now ordered 5 pairs of them! They feel like my "old" Gel-Nimbus shoes!!
