The coats is soft and my son loves it. Just a heads up that "Bonfire" looks bright red on screen, but it is red-orange in person.

Great! Keeps my boy warm!! I love you the cool bright green zipper that keeps it from being boring. I would say it is very true to size. He is 8 and the size small fits but he will grow out of it very soon. Bought the medium too which is just a little baggy now.

My grandson has an issue with the TEXTURE of fabric near or on his body. Sensory approved! "soft cozy and warm" as he said while hugging me. I immediately went back to the Columbia site to see what else I could find for him and his younger brother. His younger brother does not have sensory issues but the jacket is well made and true to size. Columbia even has a few options that you can lengthen the arms when your child grows. Worth the price, 2 seasons instead of one!
