The fabric that the outside is made of is very durable and won't get snags or small holes. My son loves this jacket and thinks it is super comfortable.

Purchased for my 12 year old son. He wore it for days when we had some snow. Great for playing in the snow and skiing.

This coat looked amazing on our son. He picked out this unique style himself. The quality is great and the material is warm. This item is well priced for the aforementioned reason and it's durability.

This jacket is great quality and warm for cold weather elements.

My 8 year old son told me, "Mom I don't like this jacket, I LOVE this jacket"....so there you have it kid tested and approved. What he really likes is the thumb holes. One comment as a parent is I think the jacket is a little stiff, but I think it's the insulation doing that. all in all, a great jacket

It was too small even though it's a "big size" and I love it everything about but too bad it runs too small

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it he says it keeps him warm and comfy

My son loves this jacket. He uses it at outdoor camp, as well as in the snow. It's waterproof and fits him really well. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat!

It's a great winter jacket. It's warm, it's easy to get on and off, and it looks good. It also has a lift ticket pocket in the sleeve. It runs just a little small so size up if you aren't sure of your fit. My son stays dry in it even when most everything else he is wearing gets wet from playing in the snow.

My som loved this coat. It's warm and he says all the other little kids like it more than theirs. It's made from great material and you can tell by the feel of material it's worth the money.

Really nice coat. It is bulky, but VERY warm. Runs a bit small unless your child will just wear a T-shirt or base layer underneath. Really snug with a sweater or sweatshirt.

This coat seems to be well made. The fit is just right. My son is a thin 12yr old and there isn't a ton of extra room for thick sweat shirts that are often worn in the winter. I would not recommend ordering online. The company is negligently slow on deliveries

Nice, warm jacket. Built for very cold temps. Quality construction. The sleeves are a little tight, so wearing a sweatshirt underneath makes it even tighter.

Bought this coat for my son to help keep him warm for cold winter weather ahead. It does run longer and has a "skinny" cut compared to other coats we have tried this season.

Beautiful coat for my 7 year old but the zipper is really hard to do especially for a smaller child. I have to zip it for him. Hoping it breaks in over time but FYI in case that's a deal breaker. Also more snug in the hips if your child has a booty.

The cut of the jacket is slim, and may not fit my slim 6 year old very long, especially if he's wearing a sweater or sweatshirt and bib snowpants. The length of the coat seems shorter in proportion to the sleeves.

Our family has several Columbia jackets and all are great jackets, including this one. The reason for 3 stars is mainly for size. I purchased this jacket for my average size 12 year old. I ordered a size 14/16 hoping to get a couple years worth of wear but he has a hard time zipping the jacket because it is snug. I looked at exchanging but my son wants to kerp it like it is. Also it states a boys jacket but the bottom of the back drops down over the butt like a girls jacket. The image online of the back shows a straight bottom but that is not how his is.

We have had a fairly mild winter up until now so my son has only worn his coat a handful of times. Since the day we got it, the zipper has been really hard to zip. On about the 5th time wearing it, I was trying to help him zip the coat and neither one of us could get it. For what this coat cost, there shouldn't have been zipper issues this soon. Very disappointed as I always buy Columbia brand for him and myself and I have always been happy with it until now.
