It is nice jacket. I am 5'6 and approximately 140 lb. Medium fits me just right, could be little snug with puffy sweater underneath, but jacket is super warm and it will be too hot in heavy sweater. It is lightweight. Important feature for me is waterproof quality.

very warm and quality jacket, l haven't tested it in snow yet but it has kept me warm so far. I read some reviews that suggested to size down, which l did, and even though it still fits me, l would have rather ordered my regular size to have extra room for layering

I purchased this coat for my VERY picky 16-year-old daughter. Thank goodness she loves it! As you can expect, the quality is very good. My daughter appreciates the fact that it's roomy enough for her to wear a sweater under it and it isn't bulky feeling. For reference, my daughter typically wears a size 9 or 11 in juniors, and we purchased a large. Yes, it's a bit "big" on her (my opinion), but it's what she prefers. Personally, I think a medium would have worked better, but she says it would have been uncomfortable (to her) to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under it. As long as she's happy!

I bought this coat for my daughter for Christmas. She loved it. My wife liked it so much I ended up buying one for her and another for my mother. It's incredibly warm and quite stylish. They all love the lining around the neck that is comfortable and warm.

Beautiful in person. This coat is warm and fits perfectly, can wear a thick sweater underneath. Bought this as a Christmas present for our daughter in law and she loves it. Normally a large and bought a large.

Often with Columbia jackets I size up when I know I'll have heavier fleece on underneath. This was wise with this parka, which really looks nice while wearing (a bonus, as in ugly slushy late winter I really don't care). Not too heavy and zippers and all work smoothly.

This jacket is as described. I like the color, length and the look. I was looking for a longer jacket and I'm happy I found this one.

This coat is wonderful! It's toasty when it's blustery outside and when it's just a little chilly I never have to worry about being cold I can just throw it on over. I'm heading to colder places soon but I am less worried about staying warm with this coat, layering will be easy.

it's cute, for a coat, and warm, and i got it on sale, rock on. i am usually a small to medium, i got this in a small and there is still room for layers. i hate the hood, but i usually do with these faux fur lined hoods... they look stupid on!

I purchased the jacket for an upcoming trip to Ireland in Jan/Feb. The coat fits beautifully, is very stylish, while ensuring I'm kept warm and dry. Does well on hiking with great pocket placement and a low back to ensure no updrafts while going up those green hills. I was very picky about this coat as I will be wearing it for 1/2 a month while there. Looks like I'll be traveling in style, while keeping high and dry.
