Great shoe for my extended daily walks (7miles per day). I again only wish they would have more choices in"extra wide,"because I would buy more.

While training to run the Dallas 2001 Marathon, a store recommended Saucony based on my gait. In the years since, I've worn out dozens of pairs the Echelon. I've gained weight, gotten older, and I guess you would call my running...well, walking. This is the only shoe that fits my wide feet that a fat guy has stood on for 68 years.

This is a great running shoe for people that wear orthotics. It is wide enough to accommodate the extra width of orthotics. That's always a problem that I've run into. However, Saucony has done a good job making these shoes work with orthotics.

Extremely balanced shoe for people with feet problem

I have owned a pair of Echelon 5's for several years now and loved them, and these new Echelon 8's are as good or better. Great pair of shoes! Can't go wrong with Saucony!

Definitely feel the difference in the heal, great support and cushioning.

This shoe is very comfortable for my wide midfoot area. I would like more color choices and a little more arch support.

I found my feet do slip around in them a bit as the insole fabric is a little bit too smooth

I've bought 3-pairs in the last 2 years, great for extra wide feet, arch support! My only complaint, the inside Heel MATERIAL needs more Padding! I walk 5 miles a day, & that Area always wears out for the price, u need to do better SAUCONY!

Very comfortable, lightweight, cool looks and can wear them with Orthodics

I'm not sure why Saucony now lists Echelon under Stability. I started buying Echelon because it was Neutral. It's still neutral as far as I can tell. The Echelon 8 is a return to form and the new dark gray color looks sharp. The inside heel still wears out long before the rest of the sneaker. I go through about 3 per year. I started with the Echelon 4. I rank them as follows: Echelon 6 Echelon 8 Echelon 5 Echelon 7 Echelon 4

I have been wearing a couple of pair of Swerve shoes for a couple of years now (0ne outdoor pair and one indoor pair). They are very light and comfortable but I am 70 yrs old and have had some health issues that affected my stability. The Swerve does not offer a lot of lateral stability. The outdoor pair are kind of worn out anyway and I needed more stability. The Echelon fills that need. they are very comfortable and very stable. They are a little wider than I like or I might have given them a five.

This is the 3rd pair of Saucony's that I've bought in a years time, & all 3 pairs within a month have had the inside heel area wear out from use! I walk 4-5 miles a day, & my socks rub against the heel area & the CHEAP Material that ur using is CHEAP!!! Change the material, I'm walking not running, Get With It Saucony!

Ordered the largest size they had 15. Second pair . First fit perfect . Second was 1/2 smaller. Return for a 15 wide and that fit better. Wish they had a size 16. I'm 6'4 " 225 and where a 15 regular in all other shoes. Shoe is great !

Like them have worn only Saucony for years I am 82.

I bought these for my husband since he wears inserts and has wide feet. He says they are comfortable, but not as comfortable as his NB sneakers. He also complained that they squeak whenever he walks in stores so he rarely wears them.

Heel cushions wear out/cause blisters at 10-miles.

The inside back of heel material tears up way to early!

Still too narrow for a wide width. Bunion was poking out. Had to return it. Will order extra wide. Cushioning is great. Looks nice.

Great shoes, but they don't last well - heel wear is significant after only a few weeks. Probably my 5th pair in ~2 years, but they are the most comfortable run I've had.

I wear orthotics and the Saucony Echelon have worked well for me. When the version 8 was released I was really disappointed to see that black and gray are the only color choices.

Your shoe fits orthopedic inserts nicely. Toe room is good. Support is great. Customer service is outstanding.
