Keeps your feet warm, when you tie it tight enough. Gotten an compliment on how nice they look.

These are very nice-looking boots, but they are difficult to get on and off and seem to run small. My husband received them as a Christmas gift, but we will be returning them as they feel at least a 1/2 size too small. The zipper fooled us a bit, as he thought these would be great to wear to work (easy to slip off) so he could then put on his dress shoes. Not true at all. Very difficult to get on/off and require quite a bit of tugging and pulling.

I like these they are easy to slip on and warm. I would give 4 stars but my pair came with a broken zipper. I would of returned it but it was a pain so I just repaired them myself.

Bought these for my son. More difficult to get on than a lot of other boots he tried on. Returned.

Very ok. They are a tight fit. Not as wide as I would have expected from previous experience. I'm going to try to break them in and see how they work.

Nice, warm boots. Just wish they had pull strap to help put them on.

They are nice boots but I returned them bc they felt heavy to me. I wanted a lighter, more easy to walk in boot.

Upper boot is too bulky and stiff. Rubs my ankles. Even with zippers they're hard to get on. I would not buy them again.

I had the previous iteration of these boots, and while the quality wasn't as good as hoped, they were warm and nice to get in and out of. Lasted 3 years before the zippers broke and I tried out this new pair.
Love the look, and they feel great. However, they get 2 starts for not being warm. Not really at all. With a pair of Darn Tough (or Smartwool, I tried both) heavy socks on, these boots left my toes and feet cold after only 45 mins outside. Weather was 28 degrees F. If you can't hold your own in a Chicago winter (and trust me, it gets much colder than that), then I can't endorse them. They might cut it in the lodge or to take the dog out for a quick walk, but these aren't meant for more than 15mins outside below freezing. Really a let down.

Won't keep your feet warm or dry. Okay for the Fall but in Winter you'll be cold. Anytime snow gets onto the material under the laces your feet will get wet. Overall boot is uncomfortable.

I intended to use this product in winter getting around town in snow. Unfortunately, the product is hard to get on and off. It needs a pull tab/loop for the top back of the boot, which would make it much easier to get the boot on. Also, I had thought that, with the zipper, I could leave the laces tied and just use the zipper to get the boot on and off. But the zipper when unzipped doesn't provide enough free room to allow me to do that. So, the zipper really doesn't add anything to the boot. If it weren't for these issues, I'd like the boot a lot, as it is warm and comfortable. But with the difficulties I have getting the boot on, I don't think I'm going to be using it much at all - a wasted purchase.

Really loved these boots. Unfortunately, have a high arch. Without a boot top loop on the back of the boot, they were impossible to pull on. Had to return.

I wanted to like the boot. It fit well, seemed to be able to withstand the snow and the rain. It is snug, too, so I had full confidence of being warm. However, when I tried to put it on, because of the snugness, I couldn't do it easily. I found out there was no heel loop! The only way to pull it on after unzipping the side zipper is to clamp your fingers around the upper part of the boot. It was actually quite inconvenient. I returned the product. Why no heel loop to assist with putting on the snug boot?
Fit was spot on. I am a size 12. I ordered size 12, and it was the perfect size.

I really wanted to like these boots but unfortunately they are just too overkill for casual/rainwear. Many reviews mention that this boot is lightweight, fits snug, and is great in all conditions, but I realized in my first try on that these are literally only for snow/thick snow. The materials used are great and all but this boot is just for people who will be in snowy conditions most of the time - wearing these as rainboots will be too hefty for the average person. As someone who only encounters snow about 5-10times a year, these shoes will get wear only on those days and not on rainy days because they are simply too hefty and have a very long ankle which makes it difficult to wear everyday. Additionally, many reviews state that these boots are like sneakers - no, that is not true. There is real heft and mobility is greatly decreased with the long ankle of the shoe.
All in all, I really wanted to like these but they are much overkill for someone who will only encounter snow a couple of times a year. Wearing these in rain is just too difficult and feels humid and heavy when wearing. Hope this helps anyone out when deciding if they can wear these throughout the year.

It is inevitable that the tip of the sole will eventually separate from the toe tip
It is only glued on, and not one piece like the other NF 200,400g boots. I only wore mine about 8 to 15 times...you can see for yourself, zoom in.

The sizing on these is weird. I followed some reviews and sized up a half size because they said it was narrow. Width was fine but they crease in a weird spot when walking. It might be the material it's made of. Not quite a sneaker, not quite a boot. They also don't feel like they'll last. I have the 6" Ballard and those feel rugged and built. These thermoballs don't feel like they'll take the punishment of a commute to the city. Pluses are they are extremely light weight and warm. I returned due to sizing issue.

Not sure if the pair I have is defective or they're just made that way but, my feet are wet from stepping in shallow puddles.

I have never written a review on any type of clothing/footwear before, but these boots are so bad that I was compelled to write one. First of all, these ARE NOT WATERPROOF! I would even say they're water absorbent. Even the slightest amount of snow on top of them will eventually infiltrate the boots and soak your feet. They're also extremely painful. For the first 2 weeks, they felt fine, but after that, they became extremely uncomfortable in the ankle area after extended use. Although I bought these boots only 2 months ago, theyre going straight in the garbage where they belong.

These boots are okay, but they're way too narrow. I wish there were wider sizes. They're not super warm either. Also, they are not waterproof. I've had to spray so much waterproof spray on these boots. I could buy stock in waterproofing spray at this point. I'm extremely disappointed with my purchase and I retract my previous review of 5 stars

I wore these boots for the first time today in our first snowstorm of the season. I was outside most of the day. After about and hour or so of being in the snow, I noticed my boots were wet and my feet especially my toes were wet and frozen. I definitely regret purchasing these boots. If you are looking for a boot to keep your feet dry and warm look elsewhere. I don't recommend these boots.
