Received a pair of chillkats as a gift several years ago. I've owned many different brands of winter boots and styles from pack boots to insulated work boots and none of them ever just fell apart, regardless of the length or type of use....until these did. The rubber part of the forefoot just split one day leaving the boots useless. I contacted NF and got a return authorization, sent them back and after a few weeks got the proverbial kiss off!! Sorry but there is a one year only warranty but you can have these lousy boots back. Who buys a pair of winter boots intending them to last for one year? and what company type of company treats its customers so poorly. I've owned many NF products and generally have been satisfied but this is just plain wrong. Look elsewhere.....I have a pair of Sorels from the 90's still good to go, These things are just poorly made and poorly supported.

Received these as a gift and after. Few years the front rubber piece fell apart. Jus split away from the upper. I did not wear them all that much and was shocked. Send them back to NF and they refused to replace. One year warranty only for a $100+ boot. Ridiculous! Not even an offer to reimburse a portion of the cost. Will never buy a NF product again.
